The Whump Collection

Whumpee waiting for whumper to finish getting ready to hurt them.

Imagine a whumpee strapped to a chair, or chained up, or tied to a pole, restrained in a way that they can barely move. Then there is whumper, already with them, doing something that grates away at their already fragile nerves.

They could be listening to the whumper sharpening their knives. They could be watching them slowly working at uncoiling some rope, chains, barbed wire, whips. They might be setting up a tray of surgical tools, or knotting a noose. Whumpers setting up new restraints or torture devices right in front of whumpee, watching them drill each screw into the wall, knowing exactly what they are about to go through in such a personal way they didn’t know was possible.

Caretaker holding their hand tightly but gently, desperately looking over Whumpee's body to see what they need to do to help. But it's too much damage, so much blood, where would they even start-

Whumpee whimpering and gripping harder.

specifying intimate whumper really sent my mind spinning here so here’s some specific thoughts inspired by that

whumper crowded close behind whumpee while forcing the rag over their face, almost like an embrace. cradling them.

whumper hushing whumpee while they’re fighting to stay conscious. murmuring to them quietly, gently. comforting them.

physically comforting whumpee while drugging them: stroking their hair, rocking them, rubbing their side or shoulder.

Caretaker rushed into the room where Whumpee sat bound and gagged. Whumpee’s eyes were wide, their head shaking frantically, and Caretaker’s hands shook as they undid the gag around their friend’s mouth.

“You can’t be here!” Whumpee burst out as soon as they could speak. “You can’t, you have to go now —“

“What—?”

Caretaker couldn’t even finish their question before the door slammed shut and Whumper stepped into the light.

"Because I know how much you care about Caretaker."

Whumpee recoiled lightly at that unexpected reason. And stepped back when Whumper started advancing on them.

"I know you want to keep them out of this. That you don't want the same things that happened to you, happen to them."

They backed up against the wall with a slight gasp. A hand shot out and slammed just next to their head, boxing them in.
