A blog made for paraphilic discussions! This blog is anti-contact and pro-recovery. Flag in banner is the Para-Health flag by @redacted-coiner with the description reading: “This stance is to represent or show the stance of being pro para but being against Pro Contact for harmful paraphillias that can cause harm to themselves, those around them, and those who can't consent. A flag to show that you are pro recovery for those who have these harmful paras that they get the treatment and help they deserve to live healthy lives.”
Note: I am not a professional. I am not a fully reliable source of information, research, or advice. I am simply someone to talk to. This is a blog intended to provide a safe discussion space to paraphiles wanting to discuss their paraphilias. This is also a safe space for kink discussion if you’d like. (confessions are perfectly okay as well! Just clarify whether or not you’d like any input, if you’d like me to post your confession without a response, or if you’d just like me to read it!)
Paraphiles who don’t need or want help are just as welcome, just as long as you are anti contact :)

“What is a paraphilia?”
(What is a paraphilia?)
A paraphilia is described as a persistent, intense sexual interest, urge, or fantasy focused on atypical objects, activities, or situations.
“What’s the difference between paraphilias, paraphilic disorders, and kinks?”
(What’s the difference between paraphilias, paraphilic disorders, and kinks?)
A paraphilia is an atypical attraction which can be sexually or even romantic. A paraphilic disorder is a mental health condition characterized by intense, recurring sexual urges, fantasies, or behaviors that cause significant distress, impairment in daily functioning, or harm to oneself or others. A kink often involves consenting groups or parties while paraphilias or paraphilic disorders often involve non-consenting groups or objects.
“Who is welcome on this blog?”
(“Who is welcome on this blog?”)
Anyone is welcome as long as you support others in their recovery and are anti or no-contact. If you are struggling with actively interacting with harmful media, you are welcome to express that, but if it is illegal or exploitative material, please report it for the safety of the victims, safety of others, and safety of yourself.
This blog will contain:
General sexual trauma and other kinds of trauma that could be triggering
Discussions of the “big three” paraphilias. Those include pedophilia(though used as an umbrella, I want to acknowledge that the various other age paraphilias grouped/included in what’s known as pedophilia are welcome discussion here), zoophilia, and necrophilia.
Mentions of biastophilia(paraphilia including fantasies or urges involving rape), incestophilia, all of them. Every single paraphilia is allowed here.

I’m not doing very well, I hope this is okay to talk about here as it is a vent
There has been things going on about our disordered paraphila (necro) and theres been a blacklist made about me because of it, none of this is on tumblr but another platform. What’s upsetting isn’t the blacklist itself but that it put my necrophilia in a disgusting light. I am anti contact, I am disordered, and actively in recovery. I do not like my paraphilas and especially not being apart of the “big three”. I would never harm a body nor would I seek content of other people doing the same. I use fiction as an outlet as suggested by our therapist. Today I have been compared to a sex offender for my disorder, I have been called a disgusting pervert and that I should admit myself, I’ve been told I’m not recovering and that I am a horrible person. There is more but I don’t feel like listing it all out anymore. I was groomed and involved in dehumanizing trauma, which my necrophilia was a product of. I am being told disgusting things because I have a disorder caused by trauma, I don’t even know what to do I feel horrible I don’t like this part of me and I am recovering, but I genuinely can’t handle the things being said, It is putting me in so much destress, Why am I a bad person for what other people have done to me?
You are not a bad person. An attraction does not make you a bad person, especially one out of your control.
The best decision now is to (if needed or able) explain your side and separate from that community. Take much needed time off. No one should be treated like they’re inhuman simply because of an attraction in any way, shape, or form.
You are not a bad person and you are welcome here.
Oh I worded the necro thing wrong i should have said corpse descreation can’t be done ethically obviously necrophillia itself can be satisfied ethically through fiction
I have a couple paraphilias. Maybe. I’m not sure. I’m really hesitant on calling it that, and I feel way too ashamed to tell anyone. I say I have an “interest in cannibalism” but that’s not quite true. It’s a lot more than that. I’m sorry. I don’t know who else to tell this to. Sending it anonymously because if anybody who knows me saw this I would wipe my existence off the face of the planet
Not a worry at all! This space is completely welcoming to you and we will listen to anything you need to get off your chest! Any concerns or confessions are encouraged and we accept any and all paraphilias and paraphiles as long as they’re anti-contact :) (smile emoticon)

HI HI HI so i have a HUGE HYPERFIXATION on PARAPHILIAS AND I KEEP THINKING ABOUT THIS AND I CABT SLEEP BECAHSE OF IT BUT HOW DOES RECOVERY LOOK LIKE FOR SOME PARAS? I NEED THIS FOR MT HYPERFIXATION NOTEBOOJ 🥹🥹🥹
- autistic guy who is wake at 5 am
Haha, hi hello! Uhm, this is a bit of a hard one, as we aren’t fully recovered ourselves and we couldn’t give specifics but there are some methods to recovery:
- Acceptance
Accept your paraphilia, be aware that your urges are completely normal, and take any measures you feel you may need to if you feel at risk of acting on a paraphilia that may be harmful.
- Therapy
Get clinical help for your paraphilia. Gain practices to help you either accept or lessen your urges/desires, or gain ways to cope with them in ways that help.
- Embrace it
In a non-harmful way, take the reins of your paraphilia and gain a community that feels the same way and find support in camaraderie.
- Friendly support
Can’t find a community? Find a small group of whoever you can who will support you and help you recover. Whether that be distracting from urges, validating your experience, or being a shoulder to lean on, surrounding yourself with some sort of support is always a good way to go.
- Personal Research
Research about your paraphilia personally and find ways for recovery that benefit you! Sometimes friends, community, and therapy/counseling can be hard to find(or even pay for), so look for accessible resources!
This is likely not all, but these are the most we have seen! Any more questions are welcome and great resources can be found at @thisisparamisia ‘s blog intro!
had someone recently say about my biastophilia "i know you're just using fiction and roleplay to cope with your trauma but its just going to remind you of your assault and re traumatize you"
...I've never been raped
also low key shows the stark difference between how people treat paraphiles they perceive as female vs ones they perceive as male. if i was a man wanting to rape people, folks would be out for my head but because i'm a woman people assume i have some kind of sexual trauma and i'm actually just some poor baby who needs to be rescued from herself
This is paramisia and sexism.
Even if you did have rape trauma, CNC isn't guaranteed to retraumatize someone. I need people to stop projecting their fears onto others.
(And yeah, the gender dynamics involved in how people view biastophiles/autobiastophiles is pretty insane.)
stop saying "pedophile" when you mean "predator", stop saying "pedo" when you mean "pedophile", and stop saying "fictional pedophilia" when you mean "smut that includes an underage character".
Im a non contact necro and this is something I have been genuinely thinking about, I’d like to state I don’t believe dead people can consent in the normal way a conscious alive person can, that being said would putting the consent of someone being able to have sexual encounters with their dead body in their will or some kind of legal paper (like people do for how they want their dead body to be handled, I can’t remember what it is called at the moment) not be counted as consent? Legally speaking paper work like that is what allows dead people to have a say in what happens to their body or belongings
Why would this be any different than allowing the person who died to have control over how their body may be disposed of?
This is specifically talk of consent, not anything else bad that may be from having those encounters with a body
-💉
I mean?? Legally yes?? It would probably be more binding and confirming than verbal consent?? I dont know lol…I mean I would trust that more than just regular sexual consent because of the time and thought going into putting it on your will
- This ask was incorrectly responded to and we apologize. We do no condone this act, we do not condone any corpse desecration regardless of "consent" as people who are dead cannot consent or revoke consent. We apologize for the way we've responded to this. While we note we are plural and struggle with responding sometimes, we collectively take accountability regarding this post.
Yes, we should be able to decide what happens to our bodies after we die, but that does not apply to sex. It must be a mutually consensual act and after death, consent is not applicable.
Edited this post because one of us handled this incorrectly and we didn't realize until recently. We're going to keep tighter reins now that this ha occurred. We give our sincerest apologies and take collective accountability for this mishandling.
hello sooo i feel as if maybe i should specify where my boundaries are with my pro fiction stance-
i am not personally okay with sexual or romantic non-consensual RPF. I think if 2 adults say that they're okay with it being made then it's fine, or if they give permission and say its alright. but otherwise i think nonconsensual RPF isn't okay cuz it affects & involves real life people
where i draw the line with sexual fictional media is
when it's handled without responsibility and exposed to minors
used to manipulate /groom them in order to perpetuate harm.
showing sexual media to unwanting individuals / without consent (however that doesnt just go for fiction, that goes for any form of sexual media.)
Fictional media on it's own can't hurt anyone- it's about the individual consuming & publishing the media. I believe that fictional media on it's own doesn't hurt others, and that any harm relating to any form of fiction is of complete fault of the one who did it.
i've also noticed all examples of fiction "making" or "encouraging" the consumer to do things aren't at fault of the fiction itself, but the consumer's individual circumstances.
Whether that be their environment, mental state, or personal choice, pinning the blame on the art or media they consume is blatantly abuse apologism.
if someone exposes a child to sexual content in order to groom them, the fault goes into the hands of the abuser, not of the content. if someone irresponsibly posts inappropriate content to a place minors can easily access (such as youtube) esp without proper content warnings, thats the fault of the poster, not the video

tbh the Order of Good Death is a good resource when it comes to well, death. Kinda wish them and other folks were brought into the conversation. Because like, bodily autonomy after death an ongoing conversation that it seems like a lot of para spaces are butting in on.
I’ve never seen that before. This is a good resource, thank you! I agree with you, but I don’t really have much else to say on this(simply because I don’t know exactly how to respond)
tbh I don’t think necro can be done ethically I mean what if the person changes their mind at the last second before death before they can say anything?
It really can’t be done ethically. To have consent, you would also have to be in a state where you could remove your consent at any moment.
Also, there are various dangers with desecrating corpses and there is no good way to do it ethically or safely.
I agree on some level with the consent argument, but that could apply to other things. For example, a deceased person could leave all of their property to one being, or request for their body to be disposed of in a specific way (burial, cremation, etc), but change their mind at the last minute and be unable to communicate that. I cant necessarily understand how that's different?
Ofc safety is a massive factor; you can get all kinds of nasty bacteria from dead things.
To clarify, I don't have a specific opinion on this and I am not advocating for any one stance.
called 988 and talked about being rejected for being a pedophile and feeling hopeless. the person on the phone said that me being a pedophiles is uncomfortable information for anyone to hear, and specified that includes her too. then proceeded to be cold with me for the rest of the call. she wasn't supportive when i talked about the abuse i had been through. and so i just finished the conversation and hung up.
This is paramisia. I'm so sorry that happened to you. It's not "uncomfortable information for anyone to hear", and if she was not prepared to hear sensitive information like that, she frankly shouldn't be working in a suicide hotline.
Anon, I recommend you reach out to these services instead:

As for suicide hotlines, I cannot guarantee how receptive they will be to pedophiles, however they are non-carceral (meaning they won't institutionalize you against your consent.)

being intersex is a natural and normal variation of life, and life as a whole is better off with intersexuality existing. love the intersex beings in your life, their experiences deserve to be celebrated and upheld. intersex experiences deserve to be heard, and intersex bodies are beautiful.
tbh I don’t think necro can be done ethically I mean what if the person changes their mind at the last second before death before they can say anything?
It really can’t be done ethically. To have consent, you would also have to be in a state where you could remove your consent at any moment.
Also, there are various dangers with desecrating corpses and there is no good way to do it ethically or safely.
Not every necrophile is attracted to irl corpses (which would be the example in your post), and some cope through having partners that are alterhuman or headmates. Some necrophiles are attracted to alterhumans and heamates who identify as undead or corpses. Some necrophiles are strictly attracted to fictional undead or corpses (fictonecrophiles). That doesn't make them any less of a necrophile.
So yes, there's definitely dangers with corpse desecration, but it's definitely not the only form of necrophilla. Not every necrophile is likely to comitt corpse desecration (or even be attracted/aroused to the idea of it) and some will be capable of finding other alternatives.
Absolutely!! We are a necrophile ourselves(which is really the only paraphilia we feel like sharing at the moment unless asked), and we usually cope with fiction or characters! Necrophilia isn’t all corpse desecration, it’s in various forms just like all other paraphilias! :)
