+ Lucas can be Mr x, and margarine can be Ada (I’m a firm Ada and Leon situationship lover but all shits and giggles anyway)

I’ve slept for 6 hours the past 3 days and have had exams… I think I’ve lost it or I’m so tired I think I’ve lost it

I’m a little out of practice when it comes to traditional art (aka I haven’t touched a colouring pencil since I was 6 and drawing was mostly digital for a few years)

I drew this before I was into resident evil as a friend shipped these two, and now that I’ve played a good chunk of the main games and re4r I must say I don’t see it…

This is what Heisenberg’s plan sounded like to when when I first watched it,

I’ve had this question for as long as I’ve been playing the game, and I know there isn’t any direct answer (and that’s sort of the point of the story) but I’m still curious on others opinions.

My personal take use to be: you can’t know, agreeing with both sides of the fandom in which way it could be ((with a preference for them being sentient because it sounded nicer))

- they actively break free of a code, where then their choices seem to become fuelled by emotion rather than logical reasoning; like north having an extreme hate for humans that leads her to make decisions that aren’t fully rational because her reasoning for doing things is out of hatred towards people that wronged her, the fact that she doesn’t make decisions that would be the most helpful to her set task (setting the androids free) shows a flaw in reasoning that robots don’t really have.

- you (the player/a human with sentience) are controlling their actions, playing as each characters resulting/emotional response in each action you get to choose for them, resulting in a human element, meaning that depending on the player the choice actions will be different and the movement will almost never be the same as people will explore different areas.

+ I realised that some tasks that go off task (like saving the fish) take more effort then continuing with what you should be doing - and as we all know the more actions you take before doing something the less likely it is that it’s a mistake but an active choice

-they are machines-

-there are limitations to what you do, like when the game actively stops you from going in a direction and makes you refocus on an objective: it doesn’t stop you by making the character stop and choice to turn away (ignoring you to do something) but a red box that doesn’t let you move further and forces on a task they have been set (even if by them they are still following an order)

-and funny enough the fact that YOU control the game again, instead of you being the “human” part of them what if your the “code” part of them and the “emotions” they represent is things they picked up from watching others and mimicking them

I have more for both but I don’t want to go on forever, I was talking about it with someone a while back and they told me that from what I was saying they thought it could be a battle of code and sentience and now I’ve stolen their opinion and taken it as my own but still curious on others thoughts.
