Guys guys I was reading a Mandarin novel (I am still learning btw, not fluent) and there was this word 死小孩 and the individual characters mean this:

死 - dead

小 - little

孩 - Kid

So I thought it meant dead little kid 💀 and I got so confused. So I asked a friend who is chinese and she said that it means rotten little kid and told me to stop translating words always so literally because someone might call cps on me 😀
