Analysis on the current state of Jin Nasol's and Kim Soleums relationship
Spoilers up to Ch386
Okay first
Kim Soleums relationship with Jin Nasol.
I think this relationship is really good for him. Mostly because of the lack of trust Nasol has in him and how he's forced to communicate with her.
Now when I say lack of trust, that does NOT mean Nasol has no trust in Soleum. What i mean by that is that she does not trust Soleum fully.
The rest of the main cast is mostly content to trust Soleum with whatever plan he's cooking up, often just following and obeying him with maybe an occasional input.
Nasol does not trust him that much. Its shown in The Courage Test Darkness. When Soleum is contemplating whether to call The Agency via the phone, Nasol was not just waiting for his next move. Instead she started looking around and grabbing resources, so she herself could act if a situation came up.
Nasol is also quite the difficult indivual. She easily gets annoyed at things and easily resorts to violence as a way to get rid of annoyances. This forces Soleum to communicate his thoughts and thought process to her something he hasn't really done... ever.
And overall while Soleum doesn't like it, I do think this relationship is really good for him. As it forces him to trust others and communicate more.
Soleum will nearly always attempt to do a plan on his own. He's not a team player. He never trusts that his team will have his back. He doesnt even consider it. Nasol is forcing him to work as a team.
Going back to the same example of The Courage Test Ghost Story, you can see it there, his lack of belief in his own team, and how Nasol is forcing him to work as team.
When the worker they're traveling with reveals himself to be an entity, and causes Soleum to turn on the lights. Soleum checks in on Nasol and thats it. He desperatly tries to come up with a plan on his own, feeling his way through to find the switch and fix the problem. Instead of the usual where Soleum does manage to find a solution, its actually Nasol who steps up. Who uses her own abilities which he lacks to find their way through the dark and get rid of the entity. Which is good for him! And Nasol is competent enough that Soleum can trust her.
And you can see an example of him being forced to communicate in the most recent chapter. Where he actually goes through most of his thought process out loud with Nasol to try and figure out whats going on. He points out this is the way to keep control of Nasol, but its also just rlly good for him. Most of the time he'll have a full thought process completly internally and just announce to the others "I got a plan 😼, my source is trust me bro". And we've been shown throughout the novel that a big problem Soleum has is his lack of communication with pretty much everyone.

Jin Nasol's relationship with Kim Soleum.
Kim Soleum has shifted around in Jin Nasol's point of view. He began as a talented rookie with potential in Cheerful Theme Park, then became a subordinate who is my teammate when he was being promoted to A-Squad, then a potentially disruptive fellow employee in Tamra Train.
In modern times he has become what I believe is something really rare to Jin Nasol. An Equal. Someone whose life is just as valuable as her, and someone whose competence, situation, and status match her own.
I also believe he's the reason she's currently alive.
When we found her she basically seems to have given up. We were shown she wasn't contaminated by the fact that she instantly recovered and is now acting a lot like her old self (minus the needed painkillers). Yet we still found her on the floor, in shambles, mumbling and clawing at the floor.
Yet Soleum brought her back. My guess is that its because he was there during a point in her life where she believed she held value. His being there brought her back to that. Brought her back to the mentality of Assistant Manager Butterfly. Made her believe she had value again.
Jin Nasol is someone whose very set in hierarchy. She believes some people have value and others do not. She believes in a hierarchy and that everyone has a place in that, and should accept that. She used to be very high up in that hierarchy. She would respect and listen anyone above her. To anyone below her she would use in the most useful way possible.
Soleum is someone who i believe she currently considers equal to her. They are both extremly competent and talented indivuals who were once elite level Daydream employees. By unknown circumstances they have both ended up as the lowest of the low. People who are viewed as lab rats and have extremly little value.
She sees and recognizes that and I believe she genuinely considers Soleum her equal because of that. Someone she doesn't want to let go of.
We can see it in how complacent she is with his actions. Meanwhile before she often complained or snapped, here she states her opinion before allowing Soleum to do as he pleases so long as it doesn't drag them down. Such as bringing the worker along in The Courage Test despite the fact that would lower efficient. Or how she gives him 20 seconds to check in on someone. Or how she immiedatly approaches and talks to him so they can figure out the current ghost story. Or how she admits and shows she will not abandon him unless its a lost cause. Shown in how she leads him through the dark and beats up the entity. Then volunteers herself to turn on the light and tells him that she would abandon him if she finds out hes possessed.
Its kinda hard to tell with Nasol because shes a very blunt indivual who usually only says negative things. But if you actually pay attention to what she says you can see she cares.
Okay analysis went kinda into a ramble and I probably forgot to provide evidence somehwere but you get the point. Two people who tend to view no one as an equal are beginning to view the other as an equal! Yay!!
The only right way for the GSGW manhwa to do the human face reveal of Lee Jaheon, is to do it during the Ideal Groom School Arc, (around chapter 250-255), specifically as a shot of TV in Eun Haje's apartment, immediately after she spits her ice cream in shock.
That specific shot should also be of the most Braun pose in existence.
Headcanon that Shen Yuan was hotter than Shen Qingqiu, actually.
Like yeah SQQ being a cultivator gave him a boost to enough attributes + being in a stallion novel where everyone is either unrealistic hot or dog's butt ugly got the Shen Qingqiu body extra points, and he wasn't bad looking to begin with. Plus not being ill is vastly more important to the new Shen Qingqiu than those extra hotness points (Without a Cure notwithstanding). But part of the reason why he's kind of like, meh, at least I'm not hideous or anything, is because Shen Yuan's original body was a knock out.
I also like him as chronically ill, and, as many people know, beauty standards and sustained suffering are not as incompatible as they should be. Shen Yuan was conventionally attractive in part because conventional beauty standards seem to want everyone slowly dying all the time. But even setting that aside, the man had flawless bone structure, an appealing figure, captivating eyes, and the kind of voice that stopped people in their tracks.
All of which was a contributing factor to his antisocial lifestyle, actually. Despite the fact that Shen Yuan does enjoy company and requires a certain baseline of social enrichment for his enclosure, his internalized homophobia and closeting did not play well with overtures from interested parties (regardless of gender). The only way to minimize the odds of him being asked out on dates was to essentially become a shut-in, especially since even Shen Yuan can only make so many excuses before he himself starts to notice that he's going to a lot of effort to avoid specifically that avenue of socialization. Far better to just remove himself from any risk of it, and then vocally lament that oh no he's just too much of a nerd to get anywhere with women!
Anyway this largely doesn't matter much outside of sheer comedy potential for any situation where SY gets his old body/life back. Like imagine a reveal scenario where the System is going to transport them back to their old lives.

And SQQ describes himself as a pretty boy waiting to die (or something like that. though he can hardly be trusted at this point.). So, it's not a leap to conclude that they have the same brand of good looks.
