Hot take but I am happy that Clint is a new marriage candidate. I don't like him as he is right now, mostly because it feels like he is there just to be sad and miserable with no real direction for his character, so I see this decision as the best possible outcome, especially considering that CA already managed to give unlikable characters such an arc that made them some of the best in whole game (Haley and Shane my beloved).

New heart events mean more development and there is so much you can do with Clint. His lack of confidence and the way he perceives himself are the obvious places to start with. How will he come out of his shell? Why he feels so insecure? Does he really believe he is the nice guy? And then there is stuff with Emily. When did he start liking her? How he gets over that crush? Does he ever acknowledge that he kinda sees her as a prize to be won? How he changes after that? There also might be something about his job and how it affects him. Is he lonely spending so much time there considering that not many people use his services? Did he ever feel pressured to be a blacksmith because of his family? Is there something else he enjoys?

The possibilities are really endless with him and honestly I can't wait to see what CA cooked up for us. However, I can't pretend I would be marrying him. My lesbian ass is simply not interested in marrying any men even in the game (especially now that Sandy is marriageable!!), but I am quite excited for those first 8 hearts.

Another reason why I am more than happy with this decision is the fact that some Wizard fans are upset and it's giving me life. I couldn't care less about that guy but right now, his fan base is so annoying because of this idea that they are somehow morally superior for wanting him over Clint. First of all, these are fictional characters so keep that morality bullshit to yourself, but more importantly, can we stop pretending that the reason some of you want Wizard over Clint is because Rasmodius is a better person??? Like sure, Clint can be a bit creepy and say stuff you usually hear from incels, but for the majority of the time, he is just a lonely and anxious dude. The Wizard on the other hand did something so terrible to his ex-wife that she divorced him, turned green and became evil... MOTHERFUCKER MADE A VILLAIN AND YOU THINK CLINT THE SHY IS WORSE😭 Like just say that the Wizard is hot and probably more interesting lore wise. It's perfectly valid reason to prefer him over Clint.

I've seen quite a few people saying they're just going to marry Clint just to cheat on him for Emily or too immediately divorce him.

Y'all calling Clint and Intel or stalker, dude hides in a bush because he got scared at the last second to talk to Emily, and immediately called him a stalker. That's not stalking. And even for those who marry Emily, Clint doesn't doesn't direct any anger or animosity towards the farmer. Clint literally has no family members or such and clealy has anxiety. And y'all took his "I'm a nice guy" comment as a sign that he's an incel. If Cint wasn't fat or if he was conventionally attractive. Y'all would liked him He would've been your "precious shy man, protec. You people just take his dialogue and actions out of context, and paint him as the fat incel stereotype. Is literally a very lonely individual with no friends or family, who struggles horribly with love. Y'all just hate fat people, admit it.
