I find it funny how fusion cores in Fallout 4 can power whole buildings for 200+ years only last a few in-game hours in power armor. I’m sure they were only looking at it as a gameplay mechanic but Bethesda accidentally made a really good point in how wasteful military campaigns can be. Instead of giving the people of the Commonwealth power, the Brotherhood just sucks them dry of resources while appointing themselves as the wasteland’s police.

Real disappointed in one of my favourite indie punk bands. They're releasing what looks like a fully AI generated music video, and anyone saying 'hey, this is kinda shitty' is just getting attacked by the one guitarist, saying nobody is being supportive and we're just haters and don't understand them, and the official band page is doing the same (though in less aggressive language).
Like, no. That's not what it was, the issue is the blantent disregard for the negative effects these kinds of things have on the industry, and the distrust it now puts in the band. How much of their music and lyrics were generated, too? How many assets were stolen and how much water wasted?

The worst part about buying books from garage sales is sometimes they don't have the dust jackets.
My favorite book never had it, and now I have the rest of the series (in paperback, I wasn't able to get the hardcover 🥲), I kinda want the dust jacket for the first so they at least somewhat match?
