5 years ago, there was an accident at a small local thrift store that had been open just over a year. 5 years ago, a woman got behind a wheel of a car while heavily intoxicated. 5 years ago, a family with a new growing business went home unusually early. 5 years ago, a woman swerved off the road, and drove 20 feet into a small local thrift shop that had only been locked up for 30 minutes. 5 years ago, a family, home for less than 5 minutes, had to drive back to their business to see what they'd worked so hard to build, destroyed as a result of a single action. 5 years ago, by some miracle, no one got hurt. 5 years ago, a family had to rebuild their business. 5 years later, the business is still standing, the family is still here and that woman is off living her life, hopefully making the most out of the second chance at life she's been given. We are so thankful every day that no one was hurt, and that we are all still here.
