Various designs for W. D. Gaster I've thought of, plus the Forgotten Man.
I think a majority of people believe that the Forgotten Man is actually Gaster, or at least a part of him after getting shattered. While I do think that's interesting, I also think it'd be funny if the Forgotten Man was like, straight up just a guy
the horrors persist but so do books, art, hot chocolate, winter nights, the moon, the sea, the stars, sunsets, literature, libraries, cats, flowers, stories, love and the wistful feeling you get when you finally return home
I heard Sell Out by Reel Big Fish again recently, and turns out it's an aggressively Spamton-coded song. Anyway it inspired me to make something weird, bizarre, and more importantly, eye-gougingly loud in Macromedia Flash 8 again, as a little experiment to push the software a little bit
rereading your own fics/wips is a very slippery slope into finding out you actually have to finish your fics if you want them finished

This is a lovely post. It goes to show that when we percieve our own work, most of us have some type of insecurities about our own talents.
Also possibly relevant is that probably when Van Gogh finished Starry Night, he jumped up and down in frustration for a while because it didn’t look as good as it had in his head.
Tolkien used to complain that he could never write anything as well as he could imagine it. So you know, ‘good enough’ is definitely a thing.
A relative of mine is a professional author and every time someone asks him which of his books is his favorite one, he always says “The one in my head, because I haven’t messed it up yet.” He’s written more than thirty books and several of them have been on the Times bestseller list, and he still thinks this way. You’re always your own worst critic.

One of my brothers (one who's not on Tumblr) has some thoughts on the new FRIEND dialogue that just dropped.

As he put it:
This is straight up a new villain figure whoever has the army of cats since cats = no good, clearly OR: It's a metaphor for the DELTARUNE experiment, and the MewMew knows the person at the head. Nearly every character in the cast is hunting other people for some bits of protein they have hidden, and some characters, namely the Roaring Knight, have taken on a new look and name to hide things.
This is an interesting parallel to draw...everyone in Deltarune is looking for information other people have...
