“When I was younger, I think I had a lot more anger towards the way he [Keith Moon] treated my mum [Kim Kerrigan], but then when I started drinking myself, I realized that unfortunately I have that Jekyll & Hyde thing too. I’ve said and done so many things I didn’t mean, and I’ve been violent, and I’m not a violent person. […] There was a lot of leaving in the middle of the night, and fighting, quite violent stuff [between Keith and Kim]. But it was what it was. Nanny, my grandmother, his mum, was always like, ‘You’re not angry with him, are you?’ Even the other day, I was sitting down with her, she’s 95, and she was like ‘He was a good boy, really, he just got in with the wrong crowd.’ I said, ‘I’m not angry at all.’ She used to think I was.”

“The good memories I have are mostly when there was something written about Keith and a photographer would come over. We’d have to get dressed up and we’d all be together, which was nice because that wasn’t always the case.”
