I genuinely don’t get why Rolin Jones, in the process of adapting the IWTV books for the screen, decided “let’s make Daniel Molloy a bit of a rapist”.

Daniel in the books is a lot of things - impulsive, reckless, alcoholic, self-destructive, manipulative, clingy as fuck - but he isn’t predatory or sexually cruel. He’s not even particularly a fan of Armand’s cuck chair, and resents Armand for it.

Like I get the show is trying to portray Daniel as older, cynical, hardened blah blah blah, but I don’t see why they had to add that. Idk, he’s just a favourite of mine from Queen of the Damned, and it’s annoying.
