Eva Jane Kay

Daniel laughed again and shook his head. “As long as you promise to eat something.” Daniel said as he gave Eva a pointed look. 

Daniel shook his head. “You aren’t going to change just because you had something to eat.” Daniel said as he finished his coffee off, and placed the cup to one side. “You want me to break into Brooke’s?” Daniel asked with a raised an eyebrow before he laughed.

Daniel rolled his eyes slightly. “I think Brooke would be more upset that you are starving yourself, over not fitting a dress.” Daniel said as he shifted slightly. “Pretty sure she is the one that said “Zero is not a size.”

Daniel shook his head as he waved the waitress over. “Hey. Can I get a double bacon burger, a side of fries, chicken strips and another coffee Please.” Daniel said before he looked to Eva and watched her. “You are just stubborn.”

Daniel sighed as he watched Eva before he pushed the menu towards Eva. “Honestly, order food if you want. I’m not worried.” Daniel said as he shifted back slightly as he picked up his cup and took another mouthful.

Daniel looked up at Eva. “I ordered coffee.” Daniel said as he looked back down at the menu. “And you can order food too, if you want.” Daniel said with a soft smile. 

Daniel shook his head slightly. Before he grabbed a menu and glanced over it. 

Daniel laughed softly. “Be sure to tell the police that.” Daniel said as he watched Eva before he fiddled with cup. “It may be a small town, but I’m sure we can find something to do.”

Daniel took another mouthful of his drink before he shrugged. “I guess so.” Daniel said with a soft smile. 

Daniel laughed softly as he shook his head. “So you are fine with underage drinking, but not breaking and entering?”

Daniel laughed as he dodged the packet before he shrugged slightly. “If in doubt, I have the keys to Tric.” Daniel said with a grin as he picked up the jelly packet and threw back at Eva. 

Daniel shrugged before he laughed. “That doesn’t matter. We can find something to do, or I can pick a few locks.” Daniel said with a smile before he picked up his coffee and took a mouthful of his drink.

“Does adventure need a time now?” Daniel asked, he looked up when the waitress came over with their drinks. He curled his hand around warm cup and pulled it closer to himself. 

Daniel flicked to Eva’s phone before he picked up a straw and ripped the top off it, before he blow into it. Sending the paper flying towards Eva. “Ignore him, don’t let him ruin our adventure.” Daniel said with a smile. 

Daniel shook his head slightly. “You can get the chicken strips, I’m not worried.” Daniel said as he smiled again as he watched Eva. “I’m not really one to eat, but I’m not worried about what you get.”

Daniel nodded and looked up when a waitress came pass.  “One black coffee, strawberry shake and chicken strips please.” Daniel said with a smile before he looked back to Eva. “Everything alright?” Daniel asked as he leaned his head on his hand. He shifted his legs a little, tucking them under the booth seat a bit more. He was thankful to have someone like Eva in his life. But Daniel knew how risky it was as well. 

Daniel glanced over the menu again before he looked over at Eva. “What have you decided on?”

In her head, Eva could only think one thing. Him. He was her best friend. If she decided on anything, it was him. How she wanted him in her life. How she needed him. She needed that form of stability. That safety. That feeling that everything would be okay, even if everything around her was falling apart. She shook her head, tearing her gaze away from him and looking back down at her menu. “A milkshake for sure. Strawberry sounds amazing.”
