I don’t think he’d mind it! He wouldn’t do it himself but if you’re doing yours around him he may watch you and show interest. If you offer to do his, he’s not gonna say no to you. I think he’d be okay with a nice black, to match his clothes!

He may be a little more skeptical about doing his right hand, since it’s all synthetic. He’ll ask Artoo if polish will be safe on the synthetic flesh/keratin first.

You of course aren’t just going to paint his nails. You’re giving his left hand a whole manicure (I headcanon that his nails don’t grow on his right hand and he prob doesn’t get any issues with hangnails or anything either, so that hand will just get painted).

He quietly lets you work and watches intently. You of course are loving this quality time with him, and it’s an added bonus that you get to hyperfocus on his hands (because I think we all love his gorgeous hands).
