story time:

at work, the team leader of our group (basically she does the same job as us but she's the one who mediates between us and our boss) is prone to panic attacks. (this has happened only twice over 4 months)

mind you, except for 2 days of those panic attacks and fainting spells, she has delivered superior and spectacular performance at work. and YET, i find people saying she's "unfit" to be team leader and "incompetent"

people just want to support mental health as long as it's trendy. as soon as it becomes a real life scenario requiring actual compassion, no one wants anything to do with it anymore
