I hate the "if you don't learn how to use ai you'll be left behind" argument for so many reasons but 2 big ones are
A) if you want me to use this, convince me that it is helpful in my work and not an ethics disaster. Bullying me with a nebulous bad post rapture fate isn't persuasive. And
B) This argument would be more persuasive if it wasn’t coming from people whose stated goal is getting rid of the majority of the workforce across multiple sectors so they don't have to pay people anymore. Like are you really worried about my future employability, or do you just want this integrated ASAP so you can lay people off and stop paying for those pesky health insurance packages?
It's especially funny that it's turning out AI actually costs more to use than to hire people and cover their health insurance.
