i love agender grace so much. i'm a guy, but i've frequently explained my own relationship to gender as being akin to the observer effect in physics, wherein the act of observation alters the state of the observed subject. in my case, this ends up meaning "i'm a man because i exist in a society with genders, but if i go exist alone in nature away from all of humanity then i'm not really anything at all, because there is no applicable observer". and anyway i feel like that is the sort of nerd bullshit grace would pull also and i am bequeathing it unto him via the magic of headcanon. whatever. go my scarab.

Been working on my own Eridian amigurumi pattern! I plan on needlefelting details (wedding band, patrova tat, etc.) and am crocheting his shirt.

I decided to make him a mix of his book and movie forms, and also leaned a bit more into echinoderm physiology (as Weir stated that Erid’s atmosphere can be thought of similar to that of the layers of the ocean, and Eridians are similar to bottom feeders, like crabs.)
