Sebastian literally recognized that having the Flint Co. Mercenaries killed was a bad thing and regretted it deeply - the only other people he has “killed” are the random bandits, characters, etc. that Hawke and every other one of Hawke’s companions kill.
Yeah, crazy to think that a person who just witnessed the person who they consider to be a mother to them, the place that they lived at for years on end, who probably had other friends in that Chantry, who could have been inside of the goddamned thing had things been different, watched it e x p l o d e - would be a little angry. How dare he have a realistic human reaction to seeing everything he held dear turn to dust. How dare he want to see Anders face justice - not even all mages - just. fucking. Anders.
Because guess what? If you kill Anders, and side with the Mages, Sebastian actually has no problem with it says this:

We’re here to help those who have suffered unduly at our hands.” And don’t act like Anders killed just Elthina, he killed hundreds of innocent people in the explosion, and hundreds more after the resulting battle pitied almost everyone against one another, regardless of whether they or not they wanted to.
