she's definitely a father's girl, has always been ever since she was a little girl, when she is older and she sees her father's shortcomings and how hard it must have been to have be married to someone like him, someone often avoidant, sometimes even hostile, she respects baran a lot more and also all that she sacrificed for her.

baran is the strict one, the bad cop, etc. and robby is the weekend dad which he kinda takes advantage of. he'll make fun of baran and her boyfriend in finance in front of maryam (not like, maliciously) and she copies that behaviour wo thinking critically about it cause she wants to be him so so bad etc

i think she's rebellious and rude but also loves her father very much and tolerates her mother (she loves her too it's just very hard for her to admit it). as a kid she played field hockey and soccer but only does soccer now because that is the one she was better at. she's not great at school, loves hanging out with her friends and skipping class until baran gets called and they have to have a "family meeting" which is excruciating for her because it's just an hour of her parents arguing. she spends weekends at her dad's and weeks with her mum, and goes to a like low tier private school which he used to pay for entirely until baran became an attending, now they split it equally idk which one though im not american. she plans to go pro post college. that's honestly what she wants to do. she doesn't really care about school which annoys baran esp cause shes the one whos called when she doesnt do her homework.

a pretty normal girl all things considered. lovessss olivia rodrigo, gracie abrams but also has a soft spot for the cure, radiohead, foo fighters, green day, bruce springsteen, talking heads, joy division (her father's favourite music). she does like a little bit of Fairuz (she has spent too much time with her grandmother)

she has like a main friend group but robby only knows the name of her best friend from childhood, Verity, but still calls her vera accidentally. baran on the other hands knows all her friends' names and calls them sweetheart and darling etc
