"talking" is a constant choosing; see everyday i wake up i choose you; i know that im single and free to do as i please; but i use that freedom to be intertwined with you; to spend time with you; bc when were together theres nothing i cant do

take a trip to aunty, cousin, grammy house; memories on the wall; hanging up in halls and magnets on the fridge; of all the kids, of course theres more of the favorites; but never me

stayed on the straight & narrow to get attention; still no recognition; never belonged & always wronged; in the digital age; no more pictures on page; only on screens & im still not seen

i wrote a poem called 'wake up call' a few months back, not too long after i wrote that (maybe a day or 2) i was listening closely to syre ('e' specifically) and heard jaden say "your wake up call is coming"

i had been listening to the album for quite some time
