Taylor,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you’ve shared with us and the world for the last thirteen years. I don’t know how to put into words everything you and your music have meant to me, but I’m going to try.

I’ve looked up to you for as long as I can remember, and listened to your music in my darkest and happiest times. I still remember being in the fifth grade and not being able to make any friends at school. Everyday I came home from school I would lay on the floor of my bedroom listening to your album Fearless and devouring any book I could get my hands on. Though I wasn’t in the same situation as White Horse, it reminded me that things would one day get better, I would be stronger, and I would find people one day who might actually treat me well.

I’ve laughed and danced and cried through Speak Now, Red, your debut album, Reputation and now Lover, and I can truly say that each note and every lyric has struck a chord in me. You taught me to be strong, speak my mind and that there is no weakness in vulnerability. You taught me forgiveness and love and loyalty. You taught me that there is value within myself, and to never let anyone take that away.

But most of all, you made me feel less alone. Less alone in my sad days, in the days where I just wanted to dance and celebrate and love the ones close to me. Less alone in both my losses and my victories. Less alone in my insecurities and struggles with my body image and weight.

I still struggle every day, but your music has always been there for me and I know I can make it through everything that comes. I want you to know that I will always be here for you, no matter what. You are one of the strongest, bravest and most intelligent women I have ever seen. You are beautiful and kind and wonderful and I will support you forever, no matter what. You are a force of nature!!! I hope one day I get to hug you and thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I love you I love you I love you.

same girl, a couple of years older...i’ve been a fan of taylor for ten years now, but it feels like i’ve known her all my life.

She has been with me all the time, when my path is rough and i have no one to understand me or support me her music is the only thing i relate to, in the most uncertain of times her speeches inspire me to keep going and when i am happy her songs are always in the background of my mind. Maybe i regret a lot of things in my life, but being a fan of taylor is not one of them, so...

And I noticed that the shutters on the left are Blue and the ones on the right are RED.

On the Blue Side of the house we have this side of the relationship:

The rooms where they are happy together. Rooms where they delight in the comforts and easy parts of being together. Whether they are playing games, swimming around together or lounging around playing music.

On the Red side, we see the other side of their relationship:

Fights in their bedroom, a questioning on if someone else is going to take the relationship away, Taylor writing songs at 2am on her piano.

Both of these sides are valid and important sides to the range of emotions that make up Love.

Love isnt rainbows, its confronting the hard parts of a person and still choosing to love eachother.

The only room in the middle of the home is the attic.

Where Taylor steps into the daylight and climbs up the stairs to let it go:

And in the end, he chooses to go up to meet her and accept both sides of the relationship, because that's how Love works. We choose to stick around for the fight.
