"are you sure you aren't fae? that sounds like something that would happen to my kind."

"I never said I don't ― " He said, before she told what her power was "Oh damn" Did she notice he didn't believe her then? "That sounds cool and scary at the same time. So nobody can lie around you?"

mor smiled as she watched the young man realize that she was telling the truth. "nobody can lie to me." she nodded. "you can ask feyre, she tried the very first day i met her. then again, she had to deal with my cousin rhys, so i don't blame her for that." she laughed.

"Well movies aren't really something that are common where you're from, right?" She asked. "Or, are you from Crescent City like Bryce and Hunt?"

"no, i am from pyrhtian, very different from crescent city. bryce quinlan is half-fae though, so i can see why people get it confused."

People could have real powers? He only thought it happened in the fantasy world "You have powers?" He asked, couldn't believe what he heard "I see. What powers do you have?"

"you don't believe me." she stated it like the fact that it was. "i have the power of the truth, i can tell when someone is lying and even get someone to tell me the truth if i think they're lying."

"Oh I know, it's just pathetic and more annoying than anything else. Like an influencer trying to get shit from me for free."

"influencers are the ones that complain about literally everything and anything, right? they expect everything for free?"

"Powers?" He raised a brow at her. "Should we all be worried about that?"

"well as from what i can tell, you're a decent guy, brandon adams, so i don't think you have anything to worry about."

Bryce laughed. "I am in the same boat as you, Mor." She said to her. "Though, it wasn't very fun waking up when my chest started to glow, I could have gone without that."

"see, that would scare the fuck out of me, but it didn't. i just could tell when rhys, try as he might, was lying to me."

"hmm, it's a good thing you're pretty, dean di laurentis." mor smiled and shrugged. "you don't need to worry about my power." she promised.

quinn raised a brow and looked at mor. "should we be afraid that you've got your powers back?" she asked.

"only if you have something to hide." mor shrugged. "i can tell when people are lying and i can make you tell the truth, so really quinn, should you be afraid?"

"i hold the power of truth, and i can also make someone tell the truth if they are lying." she said with a simple shrug, as if this power was no big deal.

"I got to watch The Devil Wears Prada 2 in theaters when it came out at the premiere here in the city and oh my gosh, the movie was fucking amazing. Everyone needs to go and see it." @ggstarterblog

"i heard about that movie, but i've never really been one to go sit at a movie theather so maybe i'll have to watch it when it's out of the theathers."
