@thestenchofcheeseandregrets you should know after following me this long that I will elaborate on anything, given the chance 😈
So the queer coding is very subtle in part 1, and mostly exists under what Straight Man(tm) labels as "wide eyed optimism".
Part 2 is where it really starts hitting.
Glitch saves Straight Man(tm) who begrudgingly admits
"You know professional psychiatric therapy is only a crow's call away these days. I think a man like you, with your issues of masculinity; what we call the boy scout syndrome..."
Next, we have the whole "rhythm comes directly from the soul" scene.
Of course he can dance. Its why we all go nuts for I Don't Dance from high school musical 2.
But then he turns that dancing into fighting, and is now deemed acceptable by Straight Man (tm), with the phrase "you're a deep well, Glitch", implying that there are many things we do not know about him.
Now I was fine just noticing these subtle things without needing to go full Charlie day with the pinboard, until their nod to star wars during the prison break.
Raw, the cowardly lion scifi equivalent, is the one who hits Glitch in the back of the head.
In response, Glitch says,
"furry lips here can pack a punch"
He could have just called him furball, or fluffy, but no, he specifically said lips.
I'm ace as fuck and even I know those two definitely made out.
Which leads me to believe that Raw's unexplained reason for running away from home, is highly suspect, but that is a whole other essay.
In conclusion, I'm going to be spending the rest of the week finishing this series and shipping those two.
