I found this kind of ziti in the Italian specialty store by my friend’s house, and bought it specifically because of this post: long ziti was going to be A Challenge. Will found a recipe, so we cooked it in the big pot so that every zitus could lie flat, slathered it in tomato sauce with sausage meat, laid it lengthwise in a 9x13 dish, sprinkled with a blend of cheeses, and baked it. It ended up with a sort of lasagna vibe. More difficult to cut than lasagna, but it was a very delicious pile of pasta logs.
