It was going to be longer.. but basically it’s basically based on those “If Gangle abstracted” AUs. With the similarities I feel like that could have with Google and Checkmates..

1. Horace x Gary (I call them “Tokigeru” and “FreezingEncounterShipping”!)

Literally my second favorite ship overall (after Satogou). The way they act with each other.. the fact Gary CANONICALLY softens his eyes at Horace. Horace’s chuckle at Gary.. THEYRE SO FUCKING CUTE.

2. Horace x Goh (Tokigou, FirstFriendShipping)

Do I even need to explain how cute these two are?? They were already SO CUTE as friends when they were younger. Goh canonically was still indifferent towards the idea of making friends BEFORE meeting Horace, whilst I personally believe Horace also has problems making friends before making Goh.. which made their childhood friendship seem more special to me. Yes, they had a problem where they didn’t talk for years, but Horace coming back to the shrine, and it being implied he was looking for Goh and hoping he would come back.. like come on man. They’re so cute.

“If I actually saw Celebi, I was going ask it for something.. to take me back in time, back to a year before.. so I could keep the promise that I made with you.”

3. Horace x Ash (I call them “Satokio” and “TimelessSparkShipping”!)

These two don’t have many interactions.. but I don’t know why I find them so cute. Ash seemed so supportive of Horace right off the bat, and when he was cheering for both Goh AND Horace.. I don’t know, I just found it sweet.

4. Horace x Goh x Gary (Tokigerugou? Tokigogeru? Shigetokigou? I don’t really know what to call them. But otherwise I call them “ProjectMewShipping!)

I don’t really talk about them because I’m not really a fan of Goh x Gary, but I can move past it more if they’re with Horace. I already mentioned why I love Horace shipped with Goh and Gary separately above, and that still holds true here.

“I used to think that we should just all work together as friends, since we were allies with the same goal, but watching him and my other rivals.. has given me a chance to learn how others view things.”

“We are walking a long and steep path together, which is why we shouldn’t just be friends, but also rivals pushing one another forward. So that we can one day reach our dreams, together!”

Given the scenes used for the recap, I severely choose to believe this was about both Goh AND Gary here, even though the topic itself was about childhood friends, so the main thing was supposed to be about Goh.

5. Horace x Goh x Ash (I call them “Satokigou” and “TimelessFriendshipShipping” as a combination of “TimelessPromiseShipping” and “FirstFriendsShipping”!)

I’ve stated above why I love Horace shipped with them individually, but I also love how they all act together. Also Satogou overall being my favorite ship definitely helps this ship a lot!

Okay.. now we move into extreme rare-pairs with Horace, including characters he hasn’t canonically met. If you don’t like that- idk what to tell you.

6. Horace x Sophocles (I call them “TokiMane” and “SpaceTimeShipping”!)

I won’t lie, this ship started as a joke with my girlfriend and I. But the more I think of a fic with them, the more I love it. The idea of them being connected is Dialga and Palkia is fun to me. I don’t know- I just like this ship.

7. Horace x Chloe (I call them “TokiHaru” and “BloomingTimeShipping”!)

I really like the idea of Horace also really being interested in nature and gardening like Chloe. I literally had a headcanon that they meet post-Journeys because they both volunteer somewhere to do with gardening. I wish they met honestly. Platonically or romantically they would’ve been cute.

8. Horace x Dawn (Tokari?? I haven’t really thought of ship names for them 💔)

I really think they would’ve gotten along had they met! I don’t really have anything to say on them other than I think they’d be cute.

9. Horace x Lillie (Tokile? And I also call them “SnowTimeShipping”)

They would at LEAST be besties. This ship has grown on me more and more the more I think about it. They would’ve been CUTE.

10. Horace x Serena (Tokena? SereToki? TokiSere? I also like the idea of “PerformingTimeShipping”!)

I’ll be honest, I didn’t like this ship at first.. I’m not big on Serena ships, but my sister pointed it out to me, and I don’t hate it. They could be cute!

There’s probably more I can’t think of off the top of my head.. but yeah! I love Horace ships 💔

I have a family friend who worked at our local Salvation Army headquarters as a a secretary. This particular office took all the Christmas donations for children in need, put them in a warehouse, and on a designated day the staff and their friends picked through them all, taking whatever they wanted. She saw people hauling away bikes donated for specific families. Some local children had hundreds of dollars of gifts donated in their name, and on Christmas they received three cheap things, items likely not even from the person who sponsored them.

My friend quit, and I’ve not given them a dime of my money since then.

I’m a wildfire and disaster logistics specialist.

I deal with a lot of agencies who provide disaster relief.

I used to say the Salvation Army’s disaster services were the one (literally the ONE) good thing they did.

They would come in, set up a canteen trailer, make and pass out hot coffee and donated food in a disaster, usually being one of the first agencies to get there and the last to leave.

Then I found out.

Every time they did this, regardless of if they were actually invited or deployed by the agency in charge (usually FEMA, sometimes others) they would SELF-DEPLOY. Meanjng they would just show up. Ok. That’s not TOO bad, sometimes agencies have to take initiative and get there before the red tape is sorted out. BUT. They, after they left at the end of the incident, they would send FEMA or the host agency a BILL. They used one or two paid employees (usually the driver of the truck and a supervisor); and many VOLUNTEERS, but they would bill for EVERYONE’s Labor at standard federal rates. They would bill for the food they distributed even though it was all donated by another agency or private parties. They would bill for the coffee they made and the supplies. Except they would use electricity from the shelter location, water from donations or from the shelter, and in many cases, they would get the coffee and industrial filters DONATED, but bill for them at retail prices.

Salvation Army reached out to Milknmuffins and asked what shelter she’s at with the promise to address the abuse in it. She…ended up saying where she was. She was thrown out onto the street. It’s also all on Twitter.

They invited her to a personal talk so she could explain the situation in person.
