Introducing the Radical Feminist Library!
Hi Radblr, I'd appreciate if you shared this link! I've accumulated hundreds of books from the second and third waves to create the Radical Feminist Library ! ++(Library on another site) The link is available to everyone, and feel free to share it with others.
If you have any book requests, or EPUB requests, send me a message! I'll see what I can do.
If you'd like to follow me on twitter, my handle is the same as on here.
My pages are meant to talk about radical feminist theory & feminist + lesbian history. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent. I live in fear that links will break or people will delete things and they will get lost, so if I find the time I will add all this to my personal collection of radical feminist and lesbian writings.
do interact
Hi womyn, this is a mental health check-in and awareness raising post from your friendly internet stranger
Just here to acknowledge that radical feminism is a very fucking lonely road no matter how you slice it, and sometimes itās gonna hurt your relationships and get you really down and thatās just the reality. Itās not an attractive price to pay for believing in the truth or refusing to accommodate other peopleās delusions and lies for the sake of being polite.
My girlfriend is not a gender abolitionist or a radical feminist, and we try not to argue about it but itās often a big elephant in the room and sometimes I canāt help but break and point at it and get upset about how huge and obvious it is. How can we go on if we canāt agree about basic facts of the material world, and the definitions of words? It makes me very depressed about the future of our relationship, makes me hate myself for inevitably coming across as an enormous asshole, and makes me feel impossibly alone in this world.
So! The point of this is that.. I guess youāre not alone if you feel like this and if you struggle with communicating about gender with your SO. I donāt feel better yet. Itāll pass but itāll come back again someday just the same. Hooray.

stop using the "this will only stop safe abortions" argument against conservatives. they know and are fine with women dying a bloody death for trying to get an abortion. for them it's not a bug, it's a feature.
I feel like so many activists really need to change the narrative from simply, āthese right-wingers arenāt actually pro-life. They donāt care about children, if they did they would fund public schooling, maternal care, strengthen gun laws etc.ā
To, āRight-wingers actively seek to destroy the female class by trapping them in endless cycles of pregnancy, childbirth, and resulting financial destitution. They do not want women holding important positions in society including, doctors, lawyers, government roles, and other civil society positions which take years to obtain the needed degrees for, and further time to secure job roles which pregnancy and motherhood often interrupts for long periods of time (sometimes forever). They want to punish women for daring to organise for their rights from the second wave of feminism and beyond, by forcing them to undergo bodily harm via pregnancy and childbirth. They are glad that the childbirth mortality rate is high (especially among Black women) because they fundamentally consider childbirth an act that should be forced on women because they are simply are women, predestined to be punished by the Patriarchy. āPro-lifersā are anti-abortionists who fundamentally want women and girls suffer.ā
I am totally with youā¦. Itās just that the latter is a little harder to fit onto a protest sign
I just saw someone (nb female) on instagram say, āAs someone with a reproductive system, I have never had an abortion but I have been grateful to have access to abortion blah blahā and I am like SISTERā¦ā¦ā¦ you realize that all humans have reproductive systems?
What is it about your reproductive system that makes you vulnerable to pregnancy? What class of people exclusively need access to abortions? SAY IT! SAY IT!
What do you think of SCUM Manifesto? Do you recommend it?
I love it!

@autoscum has the whole manifesto broken down into individual sentences.

I know I say this all the time but seriously if youāre a radfem you need to gather with other radical women. Itās vital for you and them. Maybe you can only make it to one gathering, a festival, maybe start a meetup. Maybe itāll only be 3 of you there, but itās something and it really changes everything. Youāre not alone and you donāt have to be. Connect. Gather.
Edit to add:
Add your location in a reblog/reply and then scroll through the notes to find women to message in your area. (And then message them)
MIDWEST RADFEMS !!!!!
Northern Minnesota PLEASE?! Duluth area would be a great place for us to meet up. We could even get some women from Wisconsin to come to Duluth too!
iām from Boston!
Iām from Ohio!!
Not from your country but reblogging so you all can find more radfems in your Ɣrea n.n
This isnāt country specific. You can add your location. There are lots of responses from other countries
Then Im from Argentina and wouls love to have more radfems from my country ā”ā”
Hello from Des Moines, Iowa!
Brazilian radfems speak up!!
Southern California!
Iām in central Virginia now!
lets just replace the wordĀ āgenderā withĀ āsexist stereotypeā
sexist-stereotype nonconformity. sexist stereotype identity. sexist stereotype critical. sexist stereotype binary. sexist stereotype validation. sexist stereotype diversity. sexist stereotype fluidity. sexist stereotype dysphoria
āits a bathroom for feminine presenting-ā i have literally never voluntarily been feminine in my entire life but guess what i still need a trash can in the stall for used pads while my uterus is shedding its lining because thats part of being an adult woman and it isnāt an optional choice like putting on lipstick or whatever. its not something you get to choose.
IMO this is what the words āfeminineā and āmasculineā SHOULD be referring to, not the cultural stereotypes and gender bullshit.
āFeminine productsā are products for female people. Itās literally what they are called at the drug store. (Feminine care, feminine hygiene, etc). In this hell world where male people can be considered āfeminineā because of social and cultural stereotypes, this terminology no longer makes sense.
If a man can do it, it isnāt feminine, and if a woman can do it, it isnāt masculine. Because it doesnāt actually have anything to do with having a male or a female body!
Iām feminine in the āborn femaleā kind of way, not the āparticipates in cultural rituals that are meant to prove or signal my femaleness appropriatelyā kind of way. ;)
The complete oversexualisation of breasts has made men want to have them and women to get rid of them

So today I learned that you can experience clitoral tears instead of (or in addition to) perineal tears during childbirth and if thereās anything thatās ever made me not want to have children, itās that.
So I googled what a clitorial tear is and my blood froze. I never want to have children. Ever. NOPE.
Like⦠WHY ARENāT WE TAUGHT THIS SHIT GROWING UP AS GIRLS?
because the more women know about childbirth, the less theyāll want to procreate. maintaining this kind of ignorance around child birth (or birth control, for the matter) is a conscious choice.
It should be considered a crime to withhold this information from women. Women need INFORMED CONSENT before they risk their bodies in the trauma of pregnancy and childbirth.
Reminder that surgeons who operate on vulvas are not required to learn the location of the nerve supply to the clitoris that allows women to orgasm! Reminder that multiple textbooks used to train and educate these doctors include inaccurate or incomplete diagrams of vulval anatomy!
āSome cis women canāt produce eg-ā how do you know theyāre women. how do you know theyāre women.
the infertile women argument is always used as a disingenuous tool to muddy the waters because at least imo these people view the human body as a series of customizable parts.
like, "female denotes the sex that can bear offspring or produce eggs" can is the key word. it simply means that a female is defined as being a member of the sex that is can, regardless of whether they or some other members of that sex (i.e. the female sex) can't for whatever reason.
even if a female is infertile, she is still a female, her body is still a female body. if all her reproductive organs are removed and her vagina is replaced with a fidget spinner, she's still a female because your sex isn't confined to your pelvis area. your sex is interwoven with many other processes and structures in your body, it doesn't stand in isolation. it's not a removable part.
