I know, I know, but geez! I’m usually doing some kind of important stuff when they appear, so I can’t just go and talk to them.

What should I even say? I can’t imagine someone flirting on the library. Like, ‘What’s up, you’re so hunky, you must be hiding a rapidly aging portrait somewhere in your attic’? Or, I don’t know, ‘I wasn’t a big fan of “Eat” or “Pray,” but there ain’t nothin’ wrong with “Love’? It’s just a mistery.

[ Presses her cheek on the top of Emily’s head, humming. ]

But flirting at work is the best thing there is, or so I’ve been told. You can do your important stuff after getting at least their names, or something. At worse you’ll be wasting time to make a new friend.

Uh, I have no idea how to flirt at all to begin with, so I’m literally the worse person to be asking this. [ Smirks, biting back a chuckle ] But if anything I’d go with the Dorian Gray line. If the guy gets it he’s certainly a keeper.
