there’s a part of gaiden that explains that they talismans tenka wears around his next, wrists, and ankles were so that he would not lose control from the orochi cells! the anime sucks shit but in the manga during the scene where tenka is dressed all nice for a party, he doesnt wear any talismans and slowly like ... sinks to the floor throughout the progression of talking to kiiko. you think at first it’s because social fancy gatherings like this arent his thing.. but when he gets home the orochi cells practically make him explode with pain
