China is putting Uyghur Muslims into Concentration Camps
This is one of the greatest attrocities and oppression taking place in the world today yet still it is one of the least talked about issues. It’s estimated possibly over 2 million Uyghur Muslims have been put into these concentration camps which China calls “re-edcuation camps” and the goals is to wipe out and clean them from their cultural and religious identity. They have built dozens of these camps with fortified walls and barbed wire fences which they hide from the world media.
China sees Islam as an ‘ideological disease’. Many of the people put in these camps don’t make it out alive due to to the harsh living conditions inside. Many leave behind children who are then sent to government run orphanages and are brainwashed from a young age removing their cultural and religious identity.
Uyghur Muslims can be arrested and put in these camps for the smallest of reasons and every step they take is monitored by the authorities. Facial recognition cameras and high tech equipment has been deployed in East Turkestan turning it into a complete surveillance state. This isn’t fantasy or ‘fake news’. This is happening now in East Turkestan. Don’t let history repeat itself. Share and let the world know the truth.
please boost this!!!!
I believe every word here because I remember China’s infiltration in African countries especially Uganda. Forcing the women to marry Chinese men and give up their culture as a way to maintain tight control of their minerals and resources. The Chinese are the new colonizers but they are getting away with because no one is aware of it. They are being a lot smarter about it and thus history repeats itself. Please spread awareness about their literal concentration/ death camps.
THE CHINESE INQUISITION
Starlit Show
She let herself be led through to the outdoors, paying no heed to any sort of possible concern from BEN, and as soon as they stepped outside she instantly craned her neck to look at the stars. “Is this what you wanted to show me? Stars aren’t very loud, BEN… oh! Maybe you can hear them better because your ears are better than mine? What do they sound like?” She cupped her free hand behind her ear, straining for any sound that didn’t belong to the forest, or to herself (because, of course, she’s the loudest creature in the vicinity). “I guess if it’s the stars, they’re probably usually really quiet, but they must be especially loud tonight.”
She was taking her idea and running with it now.
“It’s not the stars alone that’s special.” he led her to a decently sized clearing, where there was a blanket on the ground, and a couple of chairs so she had a choice of seating. “Alright, just stay here, and keep an eye on the sky. I’ll be right back, just have to start it. and if it’s too loud, there are some earmuffs on that chair there.” he had to make sure she was set up before he left. “just stay here and I’ll be right back, alright?”
“Oh, alright.” She sat down in the chair he had gestured to, internally coming up with ideas about star-language-translator machines that BEN must have found in a really obscure star market or something. “Keep an eye on the sky... oh no, now I feel like I need to blink.” She closed one eye carefully, squinting up at the sky with the other one, and then when it was no longer cold and stinging she opened it up and repeated with the other eye, ensuring that at least one of her eyes was still on the stars. She was probably taking the instruction too seriously, but oh well. If BEN returned right then, he’d just see her winking at the sky repeatedly.

@credulous-ten
She looks up from what she was doing and nods compliantly, a clueless smile on her face. “Okay! What is it? Where is it? Oh - if it’s cheese, then I think I have lots already. Somebody left a big wagon of cheese covered in claw marks, lying in the path. They must not have wanted it…” she trails off, then blinks out of her reverie. “So, where’s the something?”
that was a story to get into some other time… claw marks. that person probably didn’t simply ‘leave’ the cheese behind… “Well, we gotta head outside, it’s not something you can see indoors. we don’t have to go far though- just need a clear view of the stars for it to work.” he carefully took her hand, that moment of faltered expression past, all smiles here. he was leading the way- he’d set it up earlier, the only missing piece was the audience.

It is Dark outside, it is a very much so nighttime, yet here is a BEN, and he looks very pleased. "Ten, Ten, i want to show you something! it's a little loud, but i think you'll really really like it~"

A Rescue Mission
A scoff came from the woman, followed by a blatant dismissal of BEN’s speech. “You must think very highly of the brat. Take it from me, boy, that girl has her father’s lying, cheating, stealing blood running through her veins.“
Ten shifted, “W-what…?” She lifted her head to look first at BEN, then at the unfamiliar lady. “I… have a father?”
“Of course you do, although calling that worthless scumbag your parent in my presence is not a very good idea. He must not have raised you very well, if you don’t know that much.” The woman retorted. She turned back to speak again to BEN.
“Boy. You’re familiar with the layout of that house, I presume. I have a job for you. If you really want the brat back, do as I say. After all, even if you do somehow manage to rescue her, we’ll keep coming back until we find what we’re looking for.
“Her father stole an important document from us, and we want it back. The man himself is since dead, but we know that he left the document in the care of hisnext of kin.” She explained, leaving no moment of silence long enough for any interruption. Her hand reached out and pinched some of Ten’s hair in her fingers, and she rolled it around before dropping it in disgust when some blood came off on her fingers.
Continuing, the woman walked around to stand behind Ten’s chair. “If you find it, we’ll have no reason to ever come for her again, and you can rest easy. What do you say?“
There was a laugh. “Who said I’d bring her back to her place after this? no, I’d easily bring her to a place you wouldn’t want to find- places like that are safe. you may be able to handle humans, but none of this would even make slender bat an eye.” another laugh. “That is to say, had he any. I’m afraid you don’t know what you’re up against. did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe… you’re talking to a ghost?”
the smile dropped and his eyes narrowed. enough of this. he disappeared, reappearing with a single arm around her neck- but he wasn’t constricting her pipes. “Again, you’re lucky she’s the person you’re threatening. you know she got real upset when I taught the villagers who attacked her a lesson, and i think she’d get upset were I to break your puny little neck. but since you’re standing behind her…” His other hand came to her face, lit on fire. he pressed the flames against her hair and then let go, letting her hair burn to a crisp. with that he wasn’t even paying her anymore mind, just unstrapping Ten from the chair she was sitting in.
“If you really want that document, you should just ask her for it. it’s not like she even knows how to read: what’s a paper with writing going to mean to her? I know the house’s layout. however, I don’t know where she keeps everything- because frankly, that’s not my business. but if you think this girl is even capable of lying… you got some pretty strong drugs messing up your system. if she was a liar, I'd know. it’s hard to trick a trickster.”
The buzzing in Ten's ears had returned, muffling the voices. The only thing that ran through her mind was the idea that, at some point in her life, she had acquired a father, who had later run away? She had no memory of the event. Thinking about it only made her head hurt.
A horrified scream pierced her thoughts, and the voice of the woman who was yelling, "My hair! Put it out!"
The word 'Loud' wandered through her mind, but nothing else registered. After awhile she realized something was touching her, and her dull eyes noticed her friend removing the binds that stuck her to the chair. "BEN, is the lady okay? Why... she screaming?"

Late Night Wanderings Sentence Starters
“What are you doing out this late?”
“This part of town isn’t a good place to be at this time of night.”
“Now what’s a pretty thing like you doing in a place like this?”
“You do realize what time it is, right?”
“Where are you going at this hour?”
“The sun isn’t rising anytime soon, you know.”
“Do you know where I am?”
“The city looks different at night.”
“This street is very dark…”
“Why don’t you come stand in the light?”
“Are you lost?”
“I got turned around in the dark…”
“This isn’t the time to go wandering around.”
“Only fools and trouble come out to these parts at this hour.”
“Looking for trouble, are we?”
“A little late to be shopping.”
“Just coming back from the bar?”
“Think any of the pubs are still going to be open?”
“Trouble lurks around every shadowed corner.”
“Woah! I didn’t see you there!”
“Where did you come from?”
“What are you doing here?”
“A bold move to show your face here in the shadows of night.”
“Go home.”
“It isn’t safe here at this time of night.”
“You’re being watched.”
“What are you doing still up?”
“Looking for something?”
“I like walking when the streets are empty.”
“It’s dangerous to walk at night alone.”
“I know where I’m going.”
“The trees are kind of spooky…”
“Did you hear that howl?”
“Was…was that an owl…?”
“This path is scary at night…”
“The woods is no place a __ after dusk.”
“Oh you poor soul, wandering lost in the forest under the new moon…”
“You can’t see the stars from here…”
“This is the witching hour.”
“Dark beasts lurk here. Be cautious.”
“Stay on the road!”
“Talking a midnight stroll along the beach?”
“The ocean is so mysterious at night…”
“What brings you to the pier at this hour?”
“What dangers lurk in these dark waters, I wonder.”
“You’re going to get yourself lost one of these days.”

You’re alive!
She did indeed seat herself on the couch like a civil human being, looking around the room. This, at least, she vaguely recalled. The chair room had always been appropriately named because it was the room that stored all the seating that was light enough for little Ten to carry in from the rest of the house.
A row of stools and old wooden chairs lined the wall like they were expecting guests to arrive soon, and the focal point was the couch and three armchairs, and a floor lamp in the center. It was broken, but Ten thought it was pretty anyway.
“Well, it was a grapefruit,” She began, recalling her story, “And I was hungry. And I had never eaten a grapefruit before, so I thought I could eat it, but I don’t think I like grapefruits.”
She removed her backpack, setting it on the couch at BEN’s feet. Several clanking sounds in different pitches sounded as the bag rustled and sagged. “The rest of the stories are sorta hard to eat, so I didn’t try. You can look at them, if you like.”
he processed what he just said, and laughed again. “Ten, a grapefruit is a fruit, a plant… into a story. your tale about eating the grapefruit is a story, not the fruit itself.” still, hearing that brought a momentary sense of relief. she’d not changed much, apparently.
that was good. “But yeah, I wouldn’t mind taking a look. and I’m not surprised you wouldn’t be fond of grapefruits, with your reaction to spicy I’m sure sour’s not your friend either. most people put a dash of sugar on a grapefruit before they eat it.”
She pouted at her own lack of grapefruit knowledge, "I... I knew that! Maybe."
Her hand went to the bag, and she opened it up. The fabric sagged and spilled its contents over the couch between them.
Can opener, thread spool, a pen carved from a stick, a tiny jewelry box that was covered in Polly Pocket stickers, deflated balloon, deflated beach ball, deflated rubber duck... Each treasure seemed equally as mundane as they were random.
She plucked out a scratched-up pink DSi, also decked out with stickers. The stylus was replaced with a twisted plastic straw that couldn't be removed, but when she started it up it worked okay save for a few screen flickers. Her hands clutched the device tightly.
"I found this. It reminded me of you, but I dunno how to use it."

You’re alive!
She ambled along beside him, trying to predict which way he’d turn (and consistently failing). “I’m not wearing a belt, BEN.” She informed him absently. “I keep the stories in my backpack. Most are broken though. And I ate one of them.”
She’s talking about paraphernalia she collected on her trip but whoops time for confusion
It made sense to her, and that’s all she cared about. She kept eyeing the paintings on the walls; some had faces, others were plants or scenes. She remembers having hated one of these paintings - but she couldn’t remember which one, exactly. That was upsetting.
he laughed just a little- how could you not? “alright, how do you eat a story? I’ve not heard that one before.” and there they were. he sat on the back of the couch, leaving plenty of room for Ten… should she actually sit on the couch at all.
she used to sit on the floor most of the time, but being in the world for so long… you can learn social norms through observation alone.
