(Vincent / Ayanna)
They had fallen out without the actual fall out. Till this day, sheâs unsure of what happened. To their friendship that is. Everything else, Vincent made clear. Heâs never lied to her in the years theyâve known one another but she wishes he had never pulled away so abruptly. ayanna isnât exactly used to losing people she loves. Even if it happens often to her. Each one hits her like a ton of bricks. Aiden being the last one. So itâs nice to see the familiar face and hopefully this means sheâll be seeing Vinnie more often.Â
keeping the embrace for a few seconds, she pulled away gingerly, removing her mask so that she could see how her features soften at his words. âYouâre always so charming, Vin.â At the mention of the free time, her smile widens a bit. âThe twins will love to know youâll be around more.â And her too of course but she didnât want that to come off too weird. At his acceptance, she leads the way to the exit and toward the gazebo. Thankfully, itâs empty and Ayanna moves to sit down, gesturing him to join her. âSoâŚretirement so young? Iâm so proud of you, Vinnie. You know that?âÂ
Vincent found the hardest decision he ever made was breaking things off with Ayanna, but heâd seen how quickly his motherâs care fell to Cordelia and how it changed their life forever. He couldnât become a burden to the newly made Mother no matter how much he loved her. He told himself time and time again heâd done the right thing by pulling away allowing her to live her life free from his problems. But with the murder of Aiden, Vince couldnât stay away from his family any longer.
He chuckled softly looking at Aya âYou were the only girl to ever think soâ He replied moving to follow her. The Gazebo was beautifully decorated as they stood there âIâve missed the twins so much, how have they been?â He questioned before looking down, it wasnât known to many that heâd punched a rather horrible Sheriff that lead to his retirement but that wasnât something anyone needed to know. âYou are Aya? It was just working with the FBI, nothing super important, and look at this club everything is so beautiful and there isnât an employee here who doesnât love and respect youâ
