local festival every year has been ramped up police presence who love to decide to wade in and start beating up people. yesterday night there was a shooting in the most crowded, police-aggravated place. the police presence did not prevent it. did not stop the shooters from getting away. did not provide first aid to the dozen victims. their job has just been to put people on edge, beat up my friends, and stand around with an automatic rifle when things explode
