They're obviously not usually good quality, but I'm kind of charmed by old and bad audiobook files that are just recordings of cassettes, messages about switching sides and little blurbs included. Bonus points if you can hear faint talking or a TV on in the background occasionally.

In a constant state of not remembering how to draw him

#I like him but he is 1) ugly 2) stupid 3) evil #huxley #I’ve been wanting to do nice art of him lately but I have like 25-50% energy at most times

I feel like I hit some kind of block with Hux that I'm not sure how to work around. He's so old a lot of stuff about him just doesn't work for me anymore.... I feel like I'd need to tear up and redo a lot of his backstory. There's no approach to the "hybrid" angle that doesn't feel clunky or stupid or just incorrect, or if I kept it I'd need to change quite a few things around. He's extremely sentimental, but I'm really sure what to do with him.

I kind of don't want him to represent any kind of species, his existence is strange, unnatural, or rare, but I don't really want him to be an entirely unique type of entity either. It's also important that he was born like this, and was never nor can ever be anything other than what he is...

#Might nix the shapeshifting stuff but there's also a degree to which i find the fairy glamour interesting to play with in terms of like #it representing a sort of illusory skin you know.......#huxley #IDK i miss him but i feel like he was a little to personally load-bearing and I just need to fundamentally change my approach to his story
