The blacktailed imp-face is a small tree-dwelling dragon. It is capable of flight, over short distances, but is usually observed skittering nimbly along tree branches in search of an unwary songbird or inattentive squirrel. The other variety of imp-face, the tuft-tailed, prefers the snowy climes of alpine regions, whereas the blacktailed variety are found in temperate forests.

The Great Ghost Eel is a dragon of the deep seas, being neither ghost nor eel. Widely feared for its fierce attacks on ships at sea, it lives a secretive life beneath the waves. Some cultures consider the Great Ghost Eel to be a protective ocean deity, offended by the presence of ships. When at sea, sailors do not speak its name.
