For her mind was a palace And the palace was her mind hidden allies behind every corner Some seeming to Fade As she passed them And she had travelled oh-so far

Always the bright and shiny Locked its doors While the darkness creeped upon her From afar

Yet she went further into the unknown Never looking back The clouds entered the palace Who was now far too tall Exploring the depth and sideways Focus she lacked

Diving and drowning and floating Her journey had just begun The clouds she were no fond of Pulled her from the grass Saving her or endangering her She went along just fine

A mass of black tangles She stepped into so willingly Knowing there was no way back Her curiosity outpowered her sense

It would seem to be as the clouds was her biggest enemy But she kept it like an old winter toy Lying dusty and lonely in the summer She would always take it back
