My friend M'Monique said it was all right for me to share their g f m here a second time since it hasn't moved in nearly a month and she + their family still need a hand.

For those who don't know, M'Monique has been subject to ongoing medical racism and malpractice while trying to receive treatment for two late-stage cancers and the related chronic pain. Yeah, I'm panicking over here. We dodged a missile-sized bullet in February, with his diagnosis of diabetes and nearly dying. Now? I'm scared, trying very hard not to panic, and failing epically.

So on top of three bills we don't have the money for, we have his life-sizing medicine to deal with.

she's been in decline for a while, and her income from social security has been the only thing keeping their heads above water. even with that, they were still getting pay day loans every month.

he only makes 1200 every month with disability, that goes straight into rent with nothing left over. since his heart attack, he is unable to work.

i'm raising money to try and secure him housing once she has passed. this includes first, last, security, and living expenses while we are searching for housing for him. i have no idea how long it'll take to find affordable housing, so there is no set goal or time period as of now.

i don't have enough "karma" or whatever to make posts on reddit so please don't give me "advice" like that, just reblog and don't add any tags that could get this post supressed.

NEWEST UPDATE: I need help buying the meds day by day currently, as I am often stuck with empty packages. Please share this and my newer posts that are pinned. We need to prepare for February’s meds because I have no idea how we are going to get through for the next couple of months, I still can't believe and express the amount of gratitude you all have helped in getting her the meds for last month. We are at 2% of the goal for this month (February), it has been life saving to my family as my mom is the glue that holds everything together.

This February, we will need 500$ after coupons have already been applied- I have developed a friendship with the pharmacist and am working directly with them, they let me buy a few pills at a time for her and we have already applied coupons but it still results to this amount monthly. If anyone can help, share this or donate, it all helps with giving me hope that things will be fine in the end. I just can't wait until she won't need these pills come this summer, as she only needs them for one year.

And proof of the notice I received earlier last week in regards to a court hearing and possible eviction I could be facing, despite facing discrimination from my landlord for being a GNC woman and a butch lesbian. (I say this because he refers to me as male despite knowing I am biologically and legally female, along with the fact that I never requested the department to refer to me as male at any point.) The case is currently ongoing.

TLDR: chronically ill black lesbian needs to pay for past health care to continue appts; she and trans lesbian gf need funds for bills as well after expensive work being done on my car that also required paying hundreds in lyfts to get to work.

My car being out of commission for abt 7 days meant for 5 days I paid abt a $100 in lyfts bc I don't live in a place with public transit. This set us back even further on just about everything and obviously I still had to pay my car note and insurance as well.

We have $558 left to pay in my medical bills (already past due), a $108 power bill due 11/28, a $211 gas bill due 11/26, as well as need funds for gas in our cars, food, etc.

so, here goes: i am an afro-indigenous (aa / seminole / tsalagi / white sámi) person who is currently dealing with housing instability. at the end of this month, i don't have anywhere safe to go. i need to raise $1200 initially for either an airbnb for the month of december OR to go towards the $1k car that i found on craigslist for me to sleep in at my mom's indefinitely. im going to have to cr*wdf*nd more come december as i am having to throw away most of my things due to my current home's bedbug infestation but this will at least get me going!

dolfi, who is mika @terefah @mikabenesh ‘s father, is facing the killing of all his bees because of a cruel and unsubstantiated policy in NSW. as of Oct 4, NSW DPi has said they will kill his entire beehive this Friday, despite the lack of any presence of varroa mite in the hive.

the petition is currently at 1,500+ signatures but they need 14,000 before the NSW government will consider the petition.

if this NSW policy continues as planned, the govt will kill hundreds of thousands of bees.

I know dates get lost a lot on tumblr but this post is being made on Oct 4 and the euthanisation is set to take place on Oct 7.

Embarrassing to admit but due to several manic episodes during my time at university im £1000+ into my overdraft and have no hope of getting out of it due to me being unable to work and not enough money to last the month.

9/11 was a tragedy. everyone knows and sees that. just because i am muslim does not mean that i am going to justify 9/11. whatever bin laden’s motivation was, he did a disgusting thing and killed thousands of innocent people

just because 9/11 was an attack by someone who calls themselves muslims doesnt make all muslims terrorists. i cannot believe this is a sentence i have to type, but here i am. muslims - true muslims - do not condone violence. against anyone. i can go into all the details and the what-ifs and everything, but i dont have the energy for that. just know that violence is strictly frowned upon (note: this does not include self-defense. if somebody is attacking you and you are unable to get away, then fight back. again, there’s no debate on that).

check up on any muslims you know. your friends, neighbours, coworkers, acquaintances, even people you don’t like all that much. we are incredibly stressed out, especially if we live in a western country. just a quick text to see if they’re okay tomorrow will mean a lot

do not think that because you don’t live in america, you’re exempt from this. any western country has this problem, even if you live in a relatively okay area. i do. my friend (who lives in the same area as me) went to walmart and had a hijab on. she was nearly run over (intentionally, the guy was glaring at her and her mother the entire time) while trying to get to the store. she only realized when she got home that it was 9/11. i live in a safe area of canada. this should not be happening. but it is.

it literally means struggle in the way of Allah (SWT). somebody who struggles with wearing hijab vs fitting in is going through jihad. somebody who hijacks a plane is not
