25 years of ads peeled away

Visitors to this bookstore frequently complain that I seem hesitant to actually sell books. I admit that there are some I am reluctant to part with. The small pamphlet shown here is a case in point. I purchased it in Shanghai in the 1940s. I had just left a delightfully vibrant candy shop when a vagrant approached me. He complimented my bone structure and then offered to sell me this, the “Buddhist Palm Manual.” I could hardly refuse; after all, he and I were both booksellers, and thus kindred spirits.

And, most importantly, she’s doubling Bugs Bunny in Space Jam 2.
