Meicrackmon's apprentices/wards/miniature tagalongs Caring for these two gremlins was not a planned decision on Meicrackmon's end, but much to her surprise, the unexpected responsibility became more tolerable once the two tykes grew on her. Gammamon is the only grandchild of one of Chroma's old masters - a cranky Goddramon as talented as he is rough, in the way curmudgeonly old masters of a craft are stubborn and uncompromising. That specific Goddramon has the disctinction of being the forgemaster of Worm village - a tiny patch of greenery on the steep slopes of Iron Claw peak. Following a series of most unfortunate events, Meicrackmon lost her apprenticeship, and Goddramon saw fit to relocate his beloved grandchild to a... calmer spot. Meicrackmon not having anything better to do, and having already built a positive report with Gammamon, the old master managed to strike a deal with her. Against a fairly sizeable sum of money to care for the child, and a letter of recommendation, she'd take Gammamon with her on her travels, and look after him.

Or, that was the plan. Which did not take into account Gammamon's one and only self-proclaimed "best friend" tagging along for the trip of his own initiative. Gekkomon is diametrally opposed to Gammamon in most ways. He's loud, ill-mannered, needy, hyperactive to the max, a random urching off the street, and prone to mischief. But he's also at heart just a good kid, loyal to the bone, who doesn't want to lose his one friend. He really doesn't have much else TO lose. So when Meicrackmon realised that, short of throwing him off the Locomon she'd boarded to leave Worm village, she'd be unable to get rid of him... she let him stay.

She didn't regret it nearly as much as she expected to.

Had her file sitting since march 2025, I felt it was time to try and finish her ;w;
