Things about the infamous ep 4 bed scene that make me go insane, in time order:
Pran's perfectly normal, not at all over the top reaction to Pat wanting to sleep shirtless.
Pat, who's at this point sure that he is heterosexual, making up excuses to cuddle Pran like his Nong Nao doll
Pran willing to do anything to keep his distance. Anything but allowing Pat to get hurt. Anytime Pat is in relative trouble (locked out of his room, cannot sleep), Pran choses to help him even at the expense of his own broken heart.
Pat sniffing/kissing the corner of Pran's blanket.
Mirroring. Them laying wide awake, hands under their head.
Pran's hope. Despite their past, his better judgement, everything â when Pat counts down â for a split second, he dares to hope. He dares to hope that Pat's answer would be the same. Breaks me every time.
Pran freezing upon hearing Pat say yes. Again, their position mirroring each other.
The first tear appearing in Pran's eye. Forcing his voice to sound casual. The quick look up to hold the tears back, as Pat leans close.
If you were her, would you like me?
Seriously, this gotta be the cruelest line in the history of screenplays
Pat answering the question What's to like? only with things he did to make Pran specifically like him. Not Ink. Not anyone hypothetical. Just Pran.
The way Pat casually lists all the reasons Pran cannot stop loving him.
Again, the little eyeroll to stop the tears.
Pat asking Would you like me? It's a plea, it's a confession, and neither of them know it.
I... hate you. A statement that is both true, and the furthest thing from the truth.
Pat smiling in his sleep. Pran unable not to smile at Pat.
Seriously, Nanon deserves every acting award in the world for fighting the tears like this.
