A long time fan (I know you from the threads!), I always wondered if you had like a reference pic of how you do the sketches for your drawings? (like showing that you do a big circle for a head, two circles for the shoulders, etc) I always loved your art and I have been following it since a while now, I always wanted to draw in anime style but I always struggled with how to do the bodies or poses, since I'm okay with lineart and colors.

I start out with loose shapes to get a general idea of what kind of pose I’m trying to show. Then a quick sketch of the character’s details like hair, expression, and clothes. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING about this phase of creation is that you can still change anything you don’t like!
“Oh that hand look jank.”
“Their arm is wonky.”
“That’s a derpy expression.”
Just see what you think looks good. If you aren’t sure, ask a friend or anyone for feedback. It helps to have a fresh pair of eyes double check for you. Take a break or step back from what you’re working on. I can’t tell you how many times I power through something, show it to people when its done, and then find a mistake somewhere the next day or so. Much regrets.
