Treat yourself to a piece of tiramisu trifle, which are rich and creamy. This no-bake parfait is the perfect mix of rich chocolate, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and mascarpone cream. Heather's recipe, which is based on the French Press, is a fun take on a traditional Italian dessert.
Ingredients: 1 cup brewed strong coffee, cooled. 3 tablespoons coffee liqueur. 1 package ladyfinger cookies. 1 cup mascarpone cheese. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Cocoa powder for dusting. Chocolate shavings for garnish.
Instructions: In a shallow dish, combine brewed coffee and coffee liqueur. Dip ladyfinger cookies into the coffee mixture and layer them at the bottom of individual serving glasses or jars. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined. Spoon a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers in the glasses. Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, finishing with a layer of the mascarpone mixture on top. Dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Serve chilled and enjoy the delightful tiramisu trifles!
