A 2021 Letter from Me to You.
Hey Self!
Well, I just read the letter you wrote me 5 years ago. That was year 2016 and it’s kinda refreshing. So I’m here and continuing that cycle :)Â
Well, to answer a few of your questions: I have never had a boyfriend since that year so yes, I was a bit lonely at times. I was not able to buy our dream house nor lot. But I did bought a flat screen TV, window type Aircon, Refrigerator, Bike, Gaming Chair, Laptop, Desktop and so much more. And I gained a lot of weight!Â
But you know what, I’m currently working on something right now and hopefully, I’d achieve it within this year and write back to you again. This is kinda huge. Anyway, on the otherhand-Our Drian is such a cutie! He is so handsome right now and he is growing into a fine young man. Great job and cheers to us! I know it wasn’t easy to raise a child alone so that is a great job for the both of us.
Now, enough with the present details. I just wanted to let you know that whatever happen in the next 5 years you’re always doing a great job. I know it’ll never be easy to face this daily life lately. I can see you struggling there. But hang in there! God got you. No more expectation from this letter. You’ll find the right man for you in the right time. If he doesn’t come within this 5 years, then it isn’t time yet. You may think you’re a little older already to wait for that, but know that God has a better plans for us. And it’s okay to feel sad sometimes, enjoy your self’s company. Go to the beach alone, climb mountains and go to unfamiliar places and meet new people. I hope that one day, you’ll be brave enough to finally go out from your comfort zone.Â
I pray that you’re now wiser and disciplined when it comes to money/financial matters. I pray that you were able to save those penny and didn’t buy the things that aren’t worth buying for. I pray that you’re now doing the things that you love. And started the life that God truly wants you to have.Â
No more what ifs, okay? Just live your life to the fullest. Fulfill your God-given goals and tasks. And heaven will always rejoice with you even when you’re on your lows. We are more mature by now. We already know the the difference between wrong and right. But never stop learning. Make your heart teachable, unlearn and re-learn the things you know and didn’t know. No more expectation. Do what makes you happy as long as that happiness isn’t destroying you and your relationship with God.Â
I always do pray for you and for our Drian. May we finish this race with a grateful heart. Always <3Â
From me-2021.Â
