The fight with this apparition was challenging. Kou and Hanako were not faring well against it, Nene watched from a distance. It wasn’t fair that her two best friends were locked in battle against this soul sucking chimera of a beast, while she had to hang back.

She abandoned her post however when the thing had managed to wrap it’s viney tail around both Hanako and Kou before it flung them against the concrete walls.

Her body moved on instinct, Kou was severely injured. Hanako wasn’t off any better, there was no way he would be able to carry on the battle. Half of his face was streaked in dark red blood, the only way he was still concious was the fact he was a supernatural.

“Hananko-kun, Kou-kun!” Nene yelled as she dropped to her knees in front of them, Hanako attempted to push her away.

“Yashiro, get out of here!” He croaked as he struggled to sit up in the rubble. The beast threw its head back and roared, orange flames licking the air; all the while it started to close in on them. There was no time, amidst the panic Nene felt something tugging on her consciousness, willing her to listen. She steeled her nerves,

“Hanako-kun, loan me your power.” Nene desperately pleaded, the ghost looked as though she had sprouted three heads.

“What do you mean by that Yashiro? You know that I have no control over something like that.” He exclaimed. But for once he was wrong, Yashiro knew this. There was something calling to her, something otherworldly.

“Hanako-kun, please you have to trust me!” Frustrated because of the situation, he wasn’t focused. She leaned closer, crouching protectively over him as the roars of the chimera drew closer.

“I’m sorry, there’s no time left.” Nene apologized, she saw questions swim around in his amber eyes but he didn’t have the chance to respond because in one fell swoop she pressed her lips to his. He stilled under her in shock as Nene persisted and deepened the kiss.

The chimera was upon them, but what mattered now was the vestigial power she felt starting to flow through her veins. This wasn’t supposed to happen to a mortal such as her, but this was an exception.

She broke the kiss right as the claws of the beast came down over her, Hanako looked petrified. She offered a gentle smile right as the chimera beared down onto her, crushing her under its foot.

A feral scream erupted, but it could not be distinguished whether it was from the boy or the beast before everything was consumed in a blazing white light. The blast sent the monster flying backwards, Hanako was pressed further into the wall as the air started to clear.

Floating a few yards above the ground was Yashiro Nene, she looked near angelic as her hair floated around her face. His other tsueshiro that wasn’t holding his mantle in place swirled around her feet before spiraling upwards, transforming her appearance before his eyes.

Her outfit was changed to a pure white school uniform with black trim, the sigil of the charm he bestowed upon her cheek long ago burned brightly as a snow white cloak whirled into existence around her shoulders, the red orb snuggly placed at the conjunction of her collarbone. Mirroring where his other one rested on his body. Red camellia’s danced in her hair as the ornate dagger from No. 4’s world manifested in her right hand.

‘Loan me your power’ Hanako had thought it was impossible, but of course his assistant was always defying the realm of impossible. He was awed and impressed to say the least, as he watched her land softly on her feet.

She strode confidently over to the growling chimera that had just gotten back onto its feet. Her ruby eyes sparkled with determination, her elegant grace intimidating. She commanded attention of the whole room.

“You have forgotten who you are dealing with foul beast, it’s not just No. 7 that you have to worry about.” Nene’s lips pulled back into a smirk, that same infamous smirk that Hanako uses himself. He couldn’t help but think it looked absolutely bewitching on her.

“I am Hanako-san’s assistant, after all.” She declared with an air of finality. Before the barbaric apparition could even make a move Nene was upon it with inhuman speed. She thrust the glittering white blade into its veiny throat before slashing downwards creating an arc of ethereal starlight in its wake.

1. loki was planning on playing dead the whole time and so his very sad death scene & everything he said therein was a calculated move and he was practically writing the theatrical version of it (starring matt damon as himself) as he went along 

OR

2. loki really thought he was dying and every melodramatic word of his death scene was 100% heartfelt and then after he realized he wasn’t dead he fucking… woke up peaced out to go take over asgard (lol?) and several months later he was sitting on the throne and could remember every word of what he said to thor on that day and was like “wow im so fucking poetic. that should be a play. starring matt damon as Me perhaps”
