You cannot tell me that what they had in LastLife was normal. That was some freak stuff going on. They literally got a divorce meaning they were married and Tango even called them an old married couple (I have the clip for proof)
And Etho technically broke the rules (in my opinion at least) by only splitting the Snow Fort in half instead of kicking Bdubs out completely. Like Bdubs was still there and they were still allies in a sense despite him being on red
And then Etho went to hell and back to get Bdubs back on yellow
Might I remind everyone of 'Etho loves me, he cares' HEARTBREAKING
On the subject of the life series. PastLife.
Etho dies, Bdubs: "Who's gonna take care of me now?"
Also during PastLife Bdubs being a jealous wife while Etho goes and runs around with the Villies continuously even after the Secret Society stuff was revealed
To paraphrase GeminiTay to Etho: "It's Bdubs' turn now, go be with Bdubs!" Because Bdubs was complaining and Etho was annoying her
In SecretLife Etho decided to cover up his task with a fake task and the fake task he came up with was be nice to Bdubs. The whole session. It got to the point where Bdubs was getting freaked out because Etho was being so sweet to him
"Where's my best friend BdoubleOOOO, BdoubleO! BdoubleO-oh" (I also have a clip of him singing this)
For one of Cleo's tasks they had to narrate players like in a nature documentary, and she stumbled upon Etho and Bdubs and said something like "Look, a wild Etho and a wild Bdubs, being boyfriends as they do!"
Etho and Bdubs have been closely allied in six of the seven Life Series seasons and teamed in three of them
Bdubs calling Etho's voice sexy back in the MindCrack days and just in general flirting with him a lot during OOGE
Bdubs continuously complimenting Etho's raspy sick voice. In the clip you can tell he's trying so hard not to say it's sexy
They have voices that only come out around each other. The Ethubs community has dubbed them "the Etho/Bdubs voice". I forget who said this but someone on Tumblr pointed out that in Bdubs' HC11 Episode 'Fire Hazard' there's a great example of this. Bdubs had gotten sick repeatedly so he hadn't been very active and this was the first time Etho got to hang out with him for months and he has probably some of the worst Bdubs voice i've ever seen
The reason Bdubs' Minecraft skin has the face it does is because Etho wanted his eyes to be bigger
In Etho's S10 base he has one of Bdubs' clocks hanging on his wall and a book Bdubs wrote to him as thanks for installing his mailbox beside his bed. Mind you no other books like this are by Etho's bed
I haven't watched DoubleLife but I remember seeing a clip of Etho seeing Impulse and Bdubs together and referring to each other as husbands and he was rather upset or at least it seemed like it (I could be misremembering it was a while ago)
At the HermitCraft charity stream from this year during guess the hermit Bdubs knew Etho based on the floor he was making and little other evidence. All he needed was the floor
In Etho's Modded Minecraft Season 2 he was playing around with NPCs and the first one he added as a test was, you guessed it, Bdubs. The series and the building where the NPC was had nothing to do with Bdubs, Etho just decided to put him there
Why Rivals Duo is great:
I love the Dream/Techno ship because of the intense dynamic between their characters. Dream's mysterious persona and Techno's rebellious nature create such a compelling contrast. Their interactions often highlight themes of loyalty and conflict, which adds depth to their relationship. Plus, there are so many great moments in the content that showcase their chemistry, making the ship feel really alive within the fandom.
Look at them. They are both terrors in their own right, widely loved and hated both as characters and as CCs. Their mere presence tips the scales in any story or event, promising that whatever comes next will be exciting and perhaps even legendary. And despite all of the mythos around them--all of the pedestals and paranoia--they grow close. People once pitted against each other, who found in each other a kinship that few people could ever provide them, and so became close in defiance of the people and forces who opposed them. They can be terrifying, but they also have these tender moments of affection, where they're just completely on the same wavelength. They have running jokes! They get distracted and wander off to look at things! They can't read maps! They adore their pets!

Id just add the obvious- best friends for over a decade, friends for longer, been in similar circles for FIFTEEN YEARS, act differently around each other as opposed to ANYONE ELSE, bdubs in fact HAS called etho’s voice sexy, they fangirl for each other so hard, they have both very genuinely tenderly said i love you too each other (its a joke when its too their face but need i remind us of ‘just kidding bdubs i love you???)They’re possesive and jealous around the other, “you were just a reeebouuund,” INSIDE JOKES WITH EACH OTHER THAT WE DONT EVEN KNOW ABOUT, running jokes forever, they delight in each other’s pain, but only until theres an external threat and then they love each other forever, “even if it all fails and alliances and stuff it’ll still be you and me, we’ll still stick together,” tehy GENUINELY lovveee each other as friends to the point that they cant get a compliment out about each other (‘etho is… y’know, etho… hes… hes a genuinely, really really great… hes genuinely a good guy’)… they get FLUSTERED around each other, they know how to make the other person flustered, bdubs was so excited to record with etho that he waved his wife off (lovingly) when she advised him to go to bed, ALSO its two of the sweetest people ever, such genuinely good people who love each other so much… petnames… flirting… friendship…you know what to do, friends! Etho and bdubs, our childhood youtubers, who to this day are just as in love as the day they met!
Seriously WHAT THE FUCK these two ships are my favs bro come one i can’t choose 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
