*･✶˙˖✧ — “probably. just make sure the heat is turned up super high.” tommy passes the guy the hair straightener, hoping for the best. if they can cook bacon with it, they might be geniuses. this is the kinda stuff that will make billy and wanda proud of him. “uh, let’s make it super crispy ‘cause i don’t want food poisoning.”

*･✶˙˖✧ —  "is that a squirrel? freakin’ awesome!” he wants to reach out and pet the little creature but he knows boundaries are important. he also doesn’t wanna go home with a throbbing finger. “does it like trail mix? i have a pack in my pocket. i don’t like it, but it’s good if i’m running and need a snack.” he finally focuses on the girl when she offers to buy him food. she’s kinda cute and he puts a hand on his chest and grins wide. “what kinda guy would i be if i let you pay? my friend, miss america, would punch me in the face.” he chuckles. “i would love to go to batburger with you though. i’ve never been! is it as cool as it sounds?” his excitement is embarrassingly obvious. he rubs his hands together and they’re just a blur because he’s unconsciously doing it too fast. “oh! i’m tommy! it’s nice to meet you, stranger with a squirrel.”

*･✶˙˖✧ — his hand moves quicker than the human mind can comprehend, catching the passerby’s cellphone. “walking and texting is a huge hazard.” he laughs so they know he’s joking. “here you go.” tommy gives them the phone, accompanied by a cheeky smile. he’s happy he’s done something good because his morning was going pretty badly until now. he’d dropped his cream cheese bagel on the floor which was quickly licked clean by his pet cat, maximo. talk about a good mood killer. his stomach grumbles and he frowns. “i need a stack of pancakes and a bowl of noodles. i bet gotham doesn’t have anywhere that does those anymore, right?”
