It is not enough to be passively against fascism, to be passive in the face of fascist creep is to dig your own grave. 

“Action” is also important because it isn’t a club, it isn’t an identity. It’s Action. It’s the physical process of disrupting and removing fascist organization in your community. 

Anti-FA is a declaration you will put yourself on the line to protect others from fascism. That you are not simply against fascism in the abstract, but that you are willing to actively organize against it. 

I think that difference is very important because there are an awful lot of people who will claim to be against fascism in the abstract but tip off the cops when shit gets serious. 

Make racists afraid again. Make anyone you think is a racist afraid. Make racists who oppose crackdowns on white supremacy afraid.

Nah. I’ll be dead, so it won’t be my problem! There is plenty of other entertainment in the world. I trust you guys would find something else to fill those three minutes three times a week :D

It’s better to let stories remain incomplete, if the creator dies. An ending is more than information; more than a series of answers to mysteries, and conclusions for characters. If an ending is not executed properly, it can be far, far worse than not having an ending at all. Without the creator around to take care of her work and oversee that execution, it’s best to let it fade into eternity with her.

Not in this respect. Both Aldish and southern Gefender practise twin sacrifices. We’ll see this has significance later when we return to Alderode, where the Gefendur majority harbours fanatics who think that all the country’s twins - Ssaelit and Gefendur alike - should belong to the shrines.

Quigley and other Plats are the last people you want to ask about this though, because they themselves die at thirty. There are Plat zealots who look upon the sacrifices as a gesture of recompense to their caste; as tokens that the other castes make by way of apology for the short lives of the Blessed Folk. In Alderode, the twins are sacrificed as much to Plats as to Tirna.

Having grown up among this attitude, Quigley is much less quick to judge the entire tradition than you might think he’d be. He’ll agree it’s stupid and that if there are gods they don’t seem to care one way or another if someone’s killed for their sake, but he’ll also say that fighting for that particular cause is a distraction from the plight of his own people. The kept twins can be freed once the Plats are free.
