Peak musical storytelling, btw, for Jacob Tierney to choose to have the intro to "I'll Believe in Anything" playing right when the camera focuses on Scott in episode three, as we move away from Shane and Ilya and follow Scott and Kip's story.

because it's JUST the intro and cuts off right before the lyrics start. Those first lyrics? "Give me your eyes, I need sunshine."

But we don't get to hear those lyrics at this point because at this point in their story, Scott doesn't believe in anything. Scott doesn't believe he deserves sunshine.

Jump to three years later and we hear that same intro again as Scott watches his teammates celebrate their win with their respective wives, girlfriends, and children.

And then as Scott looks at Kip in that crowd and he makes the decision that he WILL believe in anything and he DOES deserve sunshine, we finally get to hear the lyrics of the song.
