so he feels really good that you're giving him good attention, y'know?

knows they watch these "edits" these days, and tries to reach them from it

poor baby Evan was so sad while filming

he felt so bad for the families he knew would be pained by this, who would have to relive their son, nephew, grandchild or brother's murder again

he didn't even want to do it, either

he was forced, in a way

you had begged him not to do the series, you didn't care what Ryan said

you knew damn well that this would take so much out of him

the first day of filming, he's already not the same

he came home that night looking like he was going to cry

you just held him and told him he wasn't Jeffrey Dahmer, he wasn't a bad man, he was the best person you'd ever met

he cries like every night after filming

just hates himself for doing this, he hates Jeffrey Dahmer, he hated the cops for not arresting him sooner

you're just so sad watching him cry

You called Evan that night for one reason; to come over. You knew he was done with the Dahmer series and got his natural brown hair back, and hadn't shaved his face in awhile. You were so used to him having no facial hair at all, so this wasn't looking normal for you. You noticed how sad and down he had also been, but you knew the Dahmer series had also taken a lot out of him.

You opened your phone and clicked on Snapchat. You opened Evan's contact and called him, the phone rang a few times. Finally, he picked up.

"Hi, Y/N. What's this about?" He asked, the phone on speaker.

"Evan, do you wanna come over? I'm lonely and I wanna watch a movie with you." You said.

You didn't mention the part where you would shave all his facial hair off. That was a surpise.

"Yeah, sure. Right now?" He replied.

"Yes, right now!" You said, hanging up.

He had your address, so you knew he'd get to your house completely fine. You walked into your kitchen, and made brownie batter and got out stuff to make cookies as well. You finished mixing everything and putting it into pans, and slid them into the oven. Just then, the doorbell rang.

"Evan!" You squealed as you threw the door open, attacking him in a hug.

For the first time in awhile, you heard him genuinely laugh. He squeezed his arms around you as he then picked you up. You cupped his cheeks and kissed his nose, letting him bring you inside. He closed the door with his foot.

"Something smells like chocolate," He noticed, setting you down, "What are you making?"

"Cookies and brownies!" You said happily, sitting down on the couch.

He laughed and sat down next to you, watching as your cat jumped up onto him. You two practically lived at each other's houses before Dahmer when he had to stay at his house to be on call for filming. He also didn't want to mess up his scenes, and you always made him smile.

"I actually didn't just make you come here just to watch a movie, Ev." You said.

"Oh no. What else did you want to do? If it's swimming, it's too cold." He said, growing skeptical.

"I just want to shave your face!" You finally revealed.

"Why?" He asked, with a pitch to his voice.

"Because...you don't look like my baby Evan anymore, I'm not used to you having a beard. Please?" You begged.

He did an annoyed sigh, and you knew it would be a yes. He nodded and stood up to walk to your bathroom, where he already knew you would be headed. You jumped up and squealed as you ran past him to the bathroom.

"Sit!" You said.

"On the counter?" He asked.

"Yes, Evan!" You said excitedly.

You grabbed one of the blades he kept at your house and his shaving cream, and spread it on his face when he was sat on the counter. His brown eyes kept on yours the whole time, never leaving your face. You didn't even notice he was admiring you, you were so concentrated on evenly spreading the shaving cream on his face.

Then, you grabbed the cold blade, and started shaving his face.

"You hair's not fluffy, either. It's wet. I'll blow-dry it for you after. Then you'll look like my Evan again." You said mindlessly.

He hummed to let you know he understood, and kept watching you. He was glad shaving cream was covering his cheeks, or else you would see how hard he was blushing.

"Evan, can I actually sit on your lap? It'd be easier." You stopped shaving, and looked at him.

"Yeah, I guess." He murmured.

You hopped up onto his lap, and he kept his hands on your waist to keep you from falling. You were almost done shaving his face, and you were already smiling at your work. You finally finished, and wiped the excess cream off his face.

"You look so pretty, Ev!" You remarked.

He smiled and pressed a soft kiss to your lips, something you didn't expect. You blushed, then the oven went off.

"I better go get the stuff out of the oven, we can decorate them later..." You trailed, running off to the kitchen.

He just sat there on the counter, wanting for you to come back. And soon enough, you did. Everything else was like a dream to him- You blow dried his hair, and smiled as you gazed upon the man he'd always been.

"You look so nice, Evan...I mean it. This is the Evan I know." You said softly, cupping his cheeks.
