lol the other assistant in my department transitioned into a new job last week so i’ve been doing my work + all the stuff that they left unfinished + putting out fires and dealing with stuff that’s been cropping up randomly. today i ordered food for 40+ people for an event literally 2 hours in advance, learned how to administer grants and processed a $10k grant, and finished composing a guest list for an event that 200+ people will attend (an event that i will also have to book a location for, order food for, and generally construct out of thin air in the next few weeks). i’m busy and feel confident and well-utilized but also TIRED I’M SO TIRED
