“I don’t care what anyone says. Fair food, hot cocoa, and christmas cookies from the stalls is the ultimate combination of food.” Eirik claimed as he plopped down at a table with his assortment of treats and quietly munched on them. “Here, try one!” He offered to the nearest person to sit at the table with him.

Natasha glanced up, startled as the male appeared across from her at the table. Her attention had been focused primarily on her note pad, only looking around occasionally to take in the sites and then make notes for her article for the paper. She had been giving the task of covering the event, which she didn’t mind. "I guess I could try one. You know, to benefit the article.” The brunette mused, eager to taste the treat. If she were going to spend the majority of the event working, then she should at least enjoy some of the food.

“I take it you aren’t a fan of this time of year? I personally love Christmas, but it can be annoying when some people choose to go overboard with the whole being merry and bright thing.”

“I’m loving this cold weather, it’s reminding me of home,” she hummed

“It’s nice to see that someone else actually appreciates the cold. Most people think  I’m crazy because I love winter time.”

“Last time I wear shoes with laces..” Dylan groaned to herself, brushing her hair away from her face.

“It happens.” Natasha commented, shrugging slightly in an attempt to reassure the girl. “Need some help?” She asked, offering her hand to help the other up.

“I’m just glad you moved out of the way when you did. It literally looked like it was going to crush you.”

“I would prefer a doctor like TC Callahan from The Nightshift, but I can see your point.” Natasha commented, grinning a bit.

“Just one cup?” Natasha asked, quirking a brow in her brother’s direction. “I might be on my fifth.” She grinned, giving a shrug. It wasn’t unusual for the brunette to be so heavily caffeinated. If she didn’t know better, she might think coffee ran through her veins. “What’s going on with you?” She inquired, taking note of the fact that he appeared to be nursing his shoulder. 

“Okay, okay. I'll put the brownie back. What’s with you today?”

“What do you say? With or without glasses?”

“You look pretty either way, Lizzie. Besides, if you need the glasses, then you should wear them.”
