Evan Salvatore

The small dog was cute and while he hadhis won dog that was older, a puppy was something he had thought about before. “ I mean I don’t think you are doing any harm visiting it. I bet they even like when you visit.” He grinned as he reached down and scratched the puppy behind it’s ears.

Evan looked to the male and laughed a little. “I know... They probably do like it, I just don’t know If I can surrogate a puppy that stays in the shelter and spend all day with him when I can..” Evan admitted with a chuckle as he watched the male with the puppy. . 

“Yeah, that’s totally fine, Evan,” Rafael answered, nodding. “ I can try my best to not let him be adopted, but try not be too upset if someone adopts him before you can get your parents’ permission.”

Evan laughed a little at the male. “I have not actually got to get permission from my parent’s, but I should ask them...probably before getting a puppy...don’t you reckon... How long has he been here?” Evan asked curiously looking to the male with a smile. 

“Thank you. That’s all I ask.” Kol smiled toward the boy.

Evan smiled softly as the original smiled - feeling a little more relaxed now compared with a few moments prior to this. 

Sawyer was glad to see Evan happy, it was always nice to see him feel special. “Well you’re special so you should feel it dude.” He added draping his hand over his shoulders. “But if he hurts you I’ll break his face.”

Evan looked to Sawyer and smiled as he felt the others arm over his shoulder. “I don’t think Eirik is going to hurt me Sawyer... I dunno, I just have this feeling...” Evan admitted with a small wink to the older male. 

For a moment, Eirik’s body had to register the fact there was another laying next to him. Once it did, and the other’s lips met his, he smiled softly and cracked an eye open fuller to look at him. “Hey.” He said softly. “You sleep okay?” He asked, glancing at his alarm clock to check the time.

“Good. So we’re on the same page here. That was all.”

“Yes we are... I am not going to hurt him Mr Mikaelson, I can promise you that... I really like him... he’s a great guy and he is so sweet and caring...your...your wife and you must be proud of him.” 

Eirik watched the movie until he lost track of time. When he glanced down at Evan, the blonde was already passed out against him. Giving him a soft smile, the witch shut the television off before nuzzling himself into the bed and pulling the blanket up around them.

The next morning, Evan had been first to wake up, but it hadn’t taken Eirik much longer before his eyes slowly opened and a small grumble left his mouth.

Miranda had been up in her room organizing all of her college things when Evan was walked in. “Hey.” She greeted with a smile. The two cousins hadn’t spoken in awhile. When he mentioned Eirik and what had happened she gave a small nod. “Sit.” She patted her bed and put her things away. “Yeah, I saw him for a bit when the sirens had their control on him.”

Sawyer laughed a little more, “Well f course I’m greedy Jesse is hot and to be frank I’m just super glad that you’re looking into making this thing work with Eirik.” he added. “Okay not short but still little,”

Evan watched the male and laughed. “True... and I am looking to make it work... I like him Saw... a lot... and he makes me feel special.” Evan admitted to Sawyer and a smile as his cheeks started to blush. 

“I don’t like threatening people my kids like. As for your dad, him and I are going to have a chat of our own as I had one with Eirik. Can’t change who I am. So just accept it.”

Evan watched the male and nodded his head a little. “I’ve had a little chat with my dad about it... and Eirik and I have talked about things a lot...and I know you wouldn’t change and I know you are looking out for Eirik. I am not planning on hurting your son..I promise.” 

Eirik’s grin widened and he laughed softly. “Damn, guess I’ll have to start working on being broody and not letting things get to me.” He teased before relaxing into his pillows and the embrace of the male. It may have been ‘fast’ to some people, or ‘slow’ to others, but for Eirik they didn’t seem to be moving at either pace. It was just somewhere he was content with being at the moment as they lay there watching the television.

Narrowing his eyes toward Evan, Kol slightly nodded, “You hurt him though and this won’t be pretty.”

Evan watched the male and frowned a little. “I...am not going to hurt him... and I don’t really like being threatened mr Mikaelson... I am not going to hurt your son...and while you do threaten me, you just think about how you would feel if my dad threatened Eirik...” Evan pointed out. 

Raising up a brow, Kol looked to him, “I just want to know the intensions if you want to be with him or not. I don’t want him getting hurt or thinking something with you thinking something else.”

Brows knitting together as he heard the males words, Evan was quick to shake his head. “What- no! No... I’m not going to hurt Eirik... I mean it... I really like him... and yeah I want to be with him.” Evan admitted out loud to someone other than him and Eirik.

Kol just stayed silent for a minute as he walked into the boys house. “I just want to know what your intentions are with my boy.”

Evan watched the male and laughed a little. “My intentions with you...oh right...I mean...I like him...he’s sweet...and he’s older than me...so I’m sure my dad will be asking the same to Eirik. We are taking things slow is all...not rushing into things..”

“So I have, my little Ev is getting older.” Sawyer joked. “Well who doesn’t have a thing for the Mikaelson’s I mean have you seen some of the parents? I mean some of them are kind of hot for you know old people and all, but they made some really attractive children.” he added. “Sure sure.”

“Your little Ev?” Evan asked with a chuckle. “I guess so...I mean some of them are hot and the kids are...but I have less options than you Mr Sawyer... your greedy...” Evan admitted with a laugh and a cheeky wink teasing the male. “I am not SHORT!” Evan admitted fiercely.
