No darling, I’ve had a type since I was a child in the 90s, trust me this is me staying true to what I’m attracted to.

Example: I have a niece whose name is Juliana Christine. She has a twin sister, Natalia Rose. Beautiful, beautiful girls with beautiful princess names. But when Natalia was teeny small, she couldn't say Juliana or Juli. She said "Chewy". Likewise, Juliana had trouble with saying her sister's full name and called her "Tally" or "Tall".

Tally and Tall turned to 'Toll' which then somehow, inexplicably, fell into "Tollbooth" (we're Pennsylvanians, alright? Tollbooths feature heavily in most of our travel) and continued from there.

So these two beautiful little princesses are going through life being called Chewy and Booth by literally everyone they know.

I also have a cousin, Ashley Ilene, who has been called Shwee since she was born. Because her older sister pronounced her name as "Ashwee" and the whole family was like, oh yeah that's way better.

Last one: a friend I grew up with is named Charlotte and I regularly have to remind myself of that because my whole life, I've only known her as Chuck. Her brother had trouble with the whole name Charlotte and kind of just lolled his tongue after the first syllable, leading his preschool teacher to think he was talking about his baby brother, Charles. When their mom brought the baby to with her to pick him up, all the kids were so excited to see Baby Charles and poor Charlotte was either Charles, Charlie, or (to me, because I'm a dick) Chuck ever since.
